How fast does Gabe respond to emails?

because i emailed him a couple days ago and no answer

hope its no big deal creating a thread but i want to know :P

he may not respond to it ever. However he reads all of him. But seriously that guy get's so much email a day so don't feel sad when he doesn't respond, he just either hasn't gotten to it yet or didnt respond, but still read it

I emailed Mike Booth once and he answered back within 10 minutes.
I guess he was checking his e-mail when I happened to send it.
Gabe gets a lot more e-mail however, because he ASKS for it. In his latest interview with GTV he wanted everyone to E-mail him what they thought was more important, Counter-Strike 2 or Portal 2. So I'm guessing his Inbox is pretty much full right now.

Same...i emailed him last year before L4D1's release. He replied to me in a bout a day. It was cool =).

I've never failed to get a reply from Gabe or Robin Walker in probably a dozen combined emails. Robin tends to take longer but Gabe's replies are usually very terse, not that I can blame him.

Dear Jack,

Thanks for writing! I'm afraid we can't answer questions of this sort...if a question is answered in the game, then that's the extent to which we want it answered. If it's left unanswered, that's sometimes because we couldn't figure out a good way to answer it in the game itself...but it's still not really fair to try to solve story problems outside the game. Thanks for pointing them out though.

1. Have you ever considered releasing all the TF2 content on the Xbox 360 all at once, once you finish the class updates? I know its a lot of stuff for the xbox hard drive, but What if at the same time you release a special edition TF2 for retail with all the updates. And since it won't be like the orange box, with 4 other games in it, it would be easier to cram all that TF 2 stuff in it.

2. I love Left 4 Dead! Make sure Left 4 Dead 2 is awesome. :D And please throw a Sniper special infected in there please :D I would post my idea here, but I'm afraid you'll go... "Too long. Did not read"... Eh, what the heck. I'll do it anyways. :D
Make something that shoots projectiles, whether it spits "sort of like spitter" or throw spikes, or something. Idk. Well anyways, if it hits you, you get simply knocked down for like 1 second, no health taken away. It would be the most annoying zombie ever! The spike or spit or whatever would have a cool down of around 4-5 seconds and right after he shoots, he is stunned for around a second. But he has low health, so one hunting rifle bullet can kill him. This would encourage people to actually use the sniper rifle. Plus hardcore players would love a hardcore skill needing zombie.

3. How are you going to make the Meet the Pyro video!?!?? Hes in a mask?!!?

4. Please put the Exploding bodies flying everywhere from a pipebomb effect back please!!! The game is just isn't the same if you don't see zombie bodies flying everywhere when you throw a pipe bomb. Better than bloody mist

5. Portal 2?!?!?! Throw some zombies in their for me.

6. That dude who sent you an email to fly you to australia, please do it or else I will never buy another Valve/Steam Game ever again...... (probably not, I love you guys :D )

8. Can you make that last 4th campaign in Atlanta, Georgia??? I got a cool Idea for a crescendo (or what you call Gauntlet) Where you start a Marta Train (I live near Atl so I know this stuff. Marta is a train thing that goes through out ATL) And turn it on, and while you are going, zombies on the train attempt to get you, while you are on the train to get to another safe zone. zombies would also come through the roof of the trains which has a bunch of holes and stuff. Also, they would even come through the doors, when it periodically stops at 2 train stations.

9. Also what about Crazy people (alive) that shoot everyone, including you. So you have to "Take them out" to kill them

I am really wondering how they are going to get any more content onto TF2, since the xbox has 512 ram on it, and TF2 nearly maxes that since it runs on the high settings. And if they wanted to add more content they would have lower the quality of the game so the other things could fit on that 512. I don't expect them to ever release the DLC since I know people would whine when they quality is bumped down a little.

Exactly how old is he in half-life one then?

Do your have any plans to expand on the half-life series after ep 3 or is that the last?

Is Shepard going to come back into the hl series or is he pretty much gone?

Were Barney and Gordon actual friends before Black Mesa or did they meet there?

And thats all i really wanted to know. But i cant help but ask about ep 3.

Since Gordon was planing to go to antarctica to see the borealis does that mean we will see some new enemies to go with the arctic?
