World in Conflict demo Please Help

I just downloaded the demo cause my friends keep telling me its a good game, so I dl'ed it. But after I start playing the demo I cant see my mouse cursor. I see the game's cursor but it just sits there in the middle of the screen. I move the mouse around and the mouse works, I can click on the options and stuff but I just dont know where the cursor is so I just guess. So, any help on what I can do so I can get the damn cursor to work?

Is the background black? Or is the menu normal and you just don't have any control over the mouse?

If it's black you can't run the game.
If you just don't have control it can be numerous reasons. Contact support and they should take you through steps to help diagnose the problem.

Alright, I'll try that out.

Its not black, everything runs perfectly. I can still play the game no problem. I can click on stuff and such but the thing is that its hard to play cause the game's cursor is always in the middle of the screen but I can still move the mouse around, I just dont know where the mouse is going since the cursor is in the middle of the screen.

Are u running SLI gpu's if so first try disableing SLI if it stops u know thats the problem and u can alter the games SLI profile to sort it out;P

I would try that but........ embarrisingly enough........ I dont know what a SLI gpu's is :P

SLI is when you run two Nvidia vid cards at the same time. Stands for Scalable Link Interface. It can cause a buttload of problems, especially under Vista.

Oh this happened to me. I forgot what I did but try starting it in windowed then setting it to another resolution in full screen.

So what your saying is there is a cursor in the middle of the screen you can't control, but you can still select things with your mouse? Can you see the mouse your selecting things with or is it just invisible?

The Big Gray cursor stays in the middle, the visual. But I can still select everything else, Like it was a ghost, or like you said invisible

tried it..... seems like other people have had the same problem, and none have fixed it. God I really want to play it too.......

go train with a master for many years until you are capable of telling where the mouse is without seeing it. Also, learn how to do that pressure point-kill thing, 'cause it's completely bad-ass

rofl, hahah damn all your posts make me laugh. ahah wtf. But to tell the truth, no lie, I've been thinking about actually just trying to teach myself to just use the mouse without seeing it. Thats why I laughed hahahaa

Damn..... I really want to try out the demo but that damn cursor holds me back
