Huxley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huxley_(video_game)
this game looks awsome, an MMOFPS. i cant imagine such a thing, a massive battle with 100 vs. 100 players. it will also feature cross-platform with PC and 360. the 360 version will extra singal player campain that the PC game wont, isn't that sad.

ever play planetside? it was a mmofps with fights all over the galaxy focusing on forts and outposts with crazy guns, artillery, tanks, transports, boats, mech walkers, planes, orbital weaponry, and more. fights were generally around 100v100 and it was AWESOME

This quoting shit is getting really annoying. It's a new level of laziness on the internet. Anyways, I read stuff about this a LONG time ago. Seems really good on paper, lets see how it does as an actual game though.

After all this lovely balanced debate (har har) I think i'll go and check out the game. And Huxley as a game name is very suitable. For the uneducated ones in the backrow, he wrote the novel 'Brave New World' and was a contempory of George '1984' Orwell and I believed corresponded with H.G. Wells.
And I swear if anyone says 'Who's H.G. Wells?', they're gonna get such a nut punch!

Huxley does look fun. Planetsides problem kind of was it had no real story, quests or npc's. So the MMO aspect was lacking. This attempt at MMOFPS though might be better in that regard. It looks like i'll have to upgrade my computer if I want to play it though which sucks. Also im a tad worried its Korean made. Since Asian MMO's are usually grind fests where you have to pay real money to get anywhere in the game. This might be different though.

Planetside was a blast when it had its large population. Big battles were going on all the time. Now the most fun you can have in the game is ramping the ATV's off cliffs.

I just got into the Closed beta 2. I am downloading the 4 gig game onto my hard drive, but this DSL is killing me. I will update when I am finished downloading and play a few rounds in about an hour. You can sign up for the closed beta 2 on the main page, since it will be in closed beta for another few weeks I think... Well talk to you guys in a while.

Lag and rocket spam. Also squads were super bugged, gameplay was mediocre at best, and the game was so unoptimized I had to run it at medium settings just to get 30 fps. Keeping in mind of course the fact that I can run UT3 maxed out easily and this game has nothing on those graphics and uses the same engine. Sure it's a beta, but so far I don't like what I see. Plus all it is really is ut3 except the server list is a map

Oh and I just finished playing training and a online match.
Well Graphics wise, it looked ok, like a little worse version of unreal tournament 3, but I could easily max the game out, I was getting +60 fps constantly since I was getting screen tearing pretty badly in some parts.
gameplay is an almost exact clone of UT3, felt the same. just dif guns.
I did not explore the city though, just went straight into mutiplayer
And it lagged very badly, But I expected that since I am on a wireless connection, and have dsl, I lag in almost all games, but this was very bad lag. I was popping all over the place.
idk if it was me (prob) or the server. overall it seems like a decent game.
