Just received My Apple Mac Pro... OMFG AMAZING.

This is, in terms of specs better then any other retail computer out there, in fact it's actually 2x better. My Mac's Specs:
2x Quad Core Intel Xeon 3.0 Ghz CPU's - 1.
16Gb RAM - 2.
3x 750GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s Hard Drives
4 x NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256MB In SLI - 3.
Apple Cinema HD Display 30' Flat
2x 16x double-layer SuperDrives
And of Course Leopard :D

1. Best by 2x retail CPU available, and an Xeon CPU (server CPU, 10x better then reg.)
2. Vista only goes to 4GB RAM.
3. Yes I know, NO DX10, I don't care to much as new cards are coming out soon.

No argument Mac is winning the specs war, people may say this is toooo expensive (over 11 grand :) but I will be up to date for a really long time, plus I got 80% off from work discounts, since I'm supposed to be working with these.

Yes I'm a young guy, I work WITH apple, I don't work for them, I am a programmer, not much of a job, boring most say but I live with it.

I payed around 3 grand myself for this so it seamed pretty obvious at the time to get the best computer. Don't trust what other people say, apple is the king of finesse and quality products, they always deliver, no I've never encountered a glitch in my life using apple, besides if you count my ipod running out of batteries (overused my mini, got the touch now :). Yes I'm an Apple freak, thanks to discounts through work.

This is the best gaming rig ever, even though it's dx9, it doesn't matter, it's still amazing, every game I run on max, yes I can run Crysis on max, and GoW on Mac, I get incredible frame rates and run BootCamp (comes with iLife) to run a dual boot with Windows and Leopard.

Now I don't want to start Mac vs. PC wars as it's obvious who wins already, Mac Software is 10x better then Windows but I get it it's more built for the whole "family" thing. But now I can go on windows to so it works for me.

The only thing holding you back from a mac is it's price right now, but still at the 2500 default Mac Pro it still comes with 2x Dual Core Xeon Cpu's, those are server Cpu's as well which are 10x better then normal Cpu's.

I ordered a camera and hopefully it'll come soon so I can post some pictures.

Well this game could run crysis on Max if it had a decent DX10 Card, new ones are coming out soon for it, (4x 8800 GTX's in SLI), then it's the best gaming PC, I work at a company that works with Apple that helps design them programs, we work on the iLife suite.

People doubt the Mac for one reason, it doesn't come with games, yes it does, you can just run BootCamp, totally legal way to dual boot another OS, so I just pop in the Windows disc and I got windows running better then it did on my other PC RIG.

I also don't believe for a second that you've never encountered a gltich with a mac. I'm an extremely occasional user of a couple of macs, and upon recieving an OS update it f*cked the machine, and a full re-install was needed. The laptop belonged to my GF, so she took it to the apple shop, the hilariously titled 'genius bar' where they took a look, confirmed it was f*cked, managed to get some of the data off the hard disc before having to wipe and fresh install.

Don't get me started on Ipods, the biggest overpriced bullsh*t yet. They break all the time, the hard discs barely last a year and then they are b0ll0xed. Maybe the newer versions are better, but you can still buy an MP3 player that does the same job for a lot less of the cost.... and you don't look like a band wagon jumping sheep using one.

Not really, most big industries in graphics arts use mac pro's because it's a standard, and most freelancing graphics artist, and music producers use Mac's, it just makes sense, mac's don't have bugs, spy ware, glitches.

The only reason i'm able to afford a new comp (and sorry to offend you but it ain't gonna be a Mac because I refuse to shell out anything near $2000/£1500) is because I have a fantastic wife who is willing to stump up half the cash (even if it does mean she still keeps playing The Sims ...... oh dear god the horror!)
