What do you guys think of this 'stamp'? Deliberate attack or accident? The guy in blue says it was an accident, but I think not.
I know there aren’t many footballs fans in here, but that’s why I’m asking you guys. Seeing as you don’t know the history behind this, you will give a genuine view.

Autsj! Being a 'medic' for an amateur football team(no lies! that is my real job for now.) that's gotta hurt. Anyway it really looks like an accident seeing as how he is in the momentum of the run.

This isn't football, this is soccer. Wtf are you talking about.

It definitely doesn't look like someone who is trying to regain his balance with that little thrust. I've performed some pretty amazing acrobatics to avoid stepping my cat in the dark... This doesn't seem to be someone who has lost control of his footing.

Heresy! It's football damnit! Lousy Americans, stealing all our names....

You know what I'd love to see? And American football team versus an English rugby team... but the Americans can't wear any more armour than what the rugby players are wearing (a gum guard and maybe a box if they're feeling a bit girly that day).

Bloody adebayor. Dirty cheating fucker. Nearly took RVPs eye out. It's a shame he's such a twat, that run through the arsenal defence was stunning.

No armour. Rugby: A sport for real men.

OT: Yeah it looked pretty deliberate to be honest.

From the first angle it looked like an accident, yet on the next angles it looked like he was trying to stomp on him.

There was a case in the NFL where someone deliberately stepped on someone else's head while he was down without a helmet.

England vs. America Flame War! GET YOUR TICKETS HEAR! TICKETS HEAR! TICKETS!!!!

It's "tickets here"

anyway, it's cancelled.

ON TOPIC YOU MOTHERS!

Ok, here's the kickers thought process if it was an accident

"Woah, what's that? His face, omg. And my foot is far enough away to not kick him in the...... Oh no, balet lessons......kicking in......*BOOSH*"

That has to be an attack, what kind of dodge move is thrusting your foot forward?

You didn't put a period after the word "hear". Also, you didn't capitilize the word "anyway".

I say it was a mistake, it looks like he was trying to kick it out from behind him, but slipped and ended up tripping him.

I would love to see a rugby team versus an american football team without pads. Rugby is a tough sport, but american football players are some of the toughest, most highly trained and physically gifted men in the world. Not arguing one is "better" than the other, but dont act like rugby is the de-facto standard for tough guys.

OT: That guy totally kicked that other guy in the face on purpose. No question about it. He thrust his foot forward pretty far forward.

For the record, my crack about football/soccer was entirely in jest with no intention of starting an off topic tirade.

The tackle was pretty questionable, I had my finger broken from having that happen to me. You have to watch later angles to really see it, since it seems less obvious in the slow motion, but it definitely looks like someone who just had a rage reaction and lashed out. I don't think its a matter of trying to hurt someone so much as an inability to control his temper over that tackle.

I can't watch the video, but is this the Man City vs Arsenal game with Adebayor? In which case I think there may have been some malice behind it, as the match was against his old club, but I don't know if you could call it a deliberate attack.
