Halo 3: ODST Firefight - Forum Leaderboards and Recruiting

Well, Halo 3: ODST is upon us!

As you may have known, ODST come bundled with a mode called "Firefight", in which you fight increasingly difficult Hordes (Tee hee!) of enemies. There are 5 waves in a round, and 3 rounds in a set. According to some, this mode is one of the best parts of the game, and one of the best reasons to own it. One problem: you can only play with your friends, with no Matchmaking. This is where this thread comes in. Post your high score (Which, by the way can be confirmed by the leaderboards), and you can post your Gamertag if you have no friends, or no friends online, and are hankering to play some firefight. I will post the top 10 High scores on the Forum Leaderboard.

One final note, You only can play as the Rookie (And Johnson, if you pre-ordered) in Firefight until you have beaten the campaign. After beating certain levels, you can get the rest of the ODST squad, and if you beat the game on Legendary, you unlock Dare, who is the woman with Recon. The characters are as customizable as in Halo 3, you can create your own emblem (Now with new choices!), and change any colours in the same style of Halo 3. Finally, the Service Tags are now 4 characters, with few restrictions (Doesn't have to be X66, for instance but things like N64 or other brands/competitive products may be blocked) which is styled after the Call of Duty Series Clan Tags.

This one won't be on the leaderboards for very long, as it isn't amazing. However, I have not had time to play ODST with 4 guys on Legendary yet. We're working on getting through the campaign on Legendary first, then we're gonna get a score on Firefight worth noting.

I just rented both disks. Same price, which is bogus since one is basically Halo 3. But, the Multiplayer had a sticker on it that let me rent a another game with a sticker for five days for free. So now I have O.D.S.T. AND I got Mass Effect free for five days!

I remember going up to my local renting place where they had the Oblivion Expansion available for rent, it's only 1$ a day so I took it home, installed it, and now I still have it. Basically bought the expansion for 1$, do you Install ODST or do you have to play from the disc?

You have to play from the disc.

We died at the end because my friend was about to get in trouble for staying up so late. I was basically the heavy armor and vehicle killer. My friends went out killing anything in vehicles. I got the video of it in my fileshare, it's 2 1/2 hours long though on Lost Platoon. And at the endish, I was about to laser a wraith and my team drove out in a warthog in front of me and I got a double betrayle lol. It happened in another game, we didn't get past set 1 though because we restarted, but ya it was funny and horrible.

Make sure when you are posting your score to include a difficulty. I could play easy and normal all day and end up with insanely high scores in the millions but I have better things to do than play firefight for 24 hours straight.

That being said here's my current highscore. We could have kept going but we all had to get off for different reasons and had already abused our time restraints.

I know how you feel, my Xbox broke after 3 or so months of having it, and when I transferred the data from my broken one to the new, I lost all of the games I bough online. I sent an email, they replied and I tried what they advised. I sent about 10 more emails telling them it didn't work, and each time they replied with the exact same advice they gave me originally. They can get fucked if they think I'll buy the games again, I'm not even going to pay for a Gold account.
