This is no normal on-rail shooter. This shit is pretty intense. As a fan of the original game, I'm pretty hyped for this, since Dead Space has a story with huge potential, and this looks like it could unlock that potential. And hell, for a Wii game, this looks fucking great.

I didn't like Dead Space, and I don't have a Wii. So, I think I'll pass on this one.

Same here, the game made one of the worst mistakes in video game creation, it made you backtrack. Also the field of view and bad controls...

And the awful PC port with ridiculous mouse acceleration, being forced to use the arrow keys to navigate the inventory and terrible incompatibility with vertical sync and graphics driver options/tweaks.
Not the worst PC port I've seen* but still a really lackluster effort on the part of the developers. I really hate it when devs do a "straight port" and don't bother re-tuning the input to PC standards.
*worst port honors go to Ubisoft and RE4
Back on topic, I don't care how intense a rail shooter it is, it's still a rail shooter and very little they can do will draw my interest. At least rail shooters are up front about it, unlike games like the new Wolfenstein which give you faux-freeroam but you end up running circles through identical areas full of respawning enemies.

I think calling it an awful port is a bit much, the only thing I found wrong with it was the inventory, but that rarely was a problem as if I was in that much of a hurry (when enemies are around) to heal, all I had to do was press the quick heal button.
Even though I liked the original Dead Space, I'm going to have to pass on this one. I just don't see a rail shooter being worth the money unless it's really really long.

Hate rail shooters, and this looks BBBBAAADDDD. Even if I had a Wii, I'd be passing this one up.

Looks like a good story game, but I'll rent it.

Wait a min...
We are talking about a Wii game and the forum is not imploding?
Seriously, I did like Dead Space, but I keep putting it aside when new games come out, or when I get stuck.

The story looks pretty interesting...but I think I'll stick with Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles over this.
