Hello, everyone!
For those of you who don't know what a community movie is, its a movie featuring the entire community of that game, or at least of those who submit demos. Anyone can send demos, no matter what country you are from. At the moment I haven't decided on a title for the movie, but it will come to me soon. I do have some songs that I would like to use. Now I'm looking to make a 8-10 minute movie, so send some demos.
Now I'm picky on my content, but I'm looking for the best you've got. High damage pounces, or insane pounces, smoker death pulls, scratch incaps, tank incaps. Also I want survivor content too, so close call crowns, save your entire team from a quad cap, amazing infected kills. The main thing I don't want too much of are quad caps. I'll only put a few of those in the movie.
Now for the demos....
I will only accept demos that have high fps, mainly 40fps, although 40 is kinda low for me ill accept them. When you send me the demos, put them all together in a rar or zip file and upload them to a upload site and then email me the link or send me a message on steam with the link. If you don't know any upload sites or don't want to register then here are a couple of sites. FileFront (register) SpeedyShare (free) MegaUpload (free). Just to name a few.
(If you don't know how to record a demo in l4d then heres how, open console, don't know how to do that, well oh well ask someone else :D, type record nameofdemogoeshere). The format for the demo when you send it is very important, so I can easily just know what I'm looking for. Now don't send me all 5 demos from the map send me the map the content will be coming from. Rename that demo with your name you want to be known as in the video (hopefully your real gamer name, no clan tags will be used) and put the time, and a description of it. So it should look like this... boom*`_13:18_25damagepounce. It's that simple. I want content from every map (stock in particular, no custom maps).
