In Need of Some Halp

I need some help on picking between a Zune and an iTouch for this year's Christmas present.

I don't really know the big differences between the 2 and what they are both capable of.

The main thing I want from either one of them is to put in movies straight from the folders in my computer and music of course, or if I can put any movies in at all with out paying.

Also, if I can customize them and how reliable they are.

By customizing I mean by the back rounds, fonts, and what not

I know theres a big price difference but, that doesn't really concern me too much.



So please tell me about the 2 and what would be the wiser choice.

What would you pick? Zune or iTouch?

I actually own a Zune. A black 30gb version. Its great. With any video playing device you sorta need to sync the videos to the device. You can't just drag and drop like they are folders. Its not really an issue though. For customization, you can change the background image, upload your own from your computer, whatever you want to do. I don't think you can change the font but I don't see a reason to. Its white text with black shadow so it is clear on any display. The screen is bigger than an Ipods as well. As for the itouch, it looks like an iphone. If you like having dirty finger prints all over your stuff after 2 seconds of use go for it. Everyone I know with an iphone is so worried about damaging the screen that they have it in a sleeve in their pocket. So you basically have it covered by two things at all times. Seems like a pain in the ass. I'm sure the Zune is cheaper too.

Isn't the iPhone essentially a Touch with communication applications. If it's just a couple GB difference I'd get that. If not, I'd get the iTouch over the Zune.

The only videos I like involve scripted sequences and Kismet with a little Matinee.

I say Zune since Touch screens aren't really worth the extra cost when they do the exact same thing. Only the Nintendo DS is actually inovative with touch screens.
