Confuzzliation (28_L Movies)

So last Friday I went shopping and bought 28 Days Later. I watched most of it before on YouTube when it was still up before I saw 28 Weeks Later on DVD.
Anyway, in 28 Days Later, the virus is first transmuted from chimps to humans, but in the sequel, the army fella tells Scarlet that the virus wasn't transmuted between species, so how can this make sense?
Second, in 28 Days Later, when Jim, Selena, and Mark are hiding in the store, Selena explains how broadcasts reported infection in New York and Paris. So how did it get across oceans, how does the US Army help Britain in 28WL if they had infections, and *(spoiler to anyone who hasn't seen the movie)* why does Paris just get infected at the end of the movie?

Paris is infected because zombies can get across the english channel, it really wouldn't be that difficult if you are that bloodthirsty. Or you could guess that somehow someone on the helicopter was infected and blah blah.

Anyways, they might say that the virus isn't transmitted through species', but chimps are insanely close to our DNA. Anything that can affect us can affect them and visa versa. And to my knowledge the Virus in the 2nd movie didn't get outside of Britain. They are in Britain in the entire movie, so I don't recall them even mentioning New York to be honest..

The virus got to Paris in the second one by helicopter, so thats outside of Britain. I'm sure you knew that and just made a common error since you mentioned the helicopter.

The U.S. had already started containing the new york breakout, but they went to Britain to stop the infection at its source. Also, Britain was restored after the infection, but that doesn't mean that other countries miles away couldn't have still been infected at the time. While those other countries dealt with their infection, the U.S. and British soldiers helped create a safe zone in Britain instead of just abandoning the British areas.

Does that little bit of fiction help close the gap?

How about this?

After Paris is lost to the infection, the British safe-zone is used to search for vaccines. While no vaccines are found yet, soldiers are still sealing off Paris to contain the infection there. However, newly zombified Osama Bin Laden and other famous terrorists that no one thinks about anymore rush across from Africa over to Europe and Paris spreading a wave of infection as they go. The British government finds Osama (someone had to eventually), and they shoot him down ending his reign of newly zombified terror. However, now the infection is almost too huge! U.S. and Europe both ask for china's help because of its giant mass of people to be soldiers. It works, at first, until they spread the infection back to china :O. With More people than Russia and the U.S. combined now infecting the world, the countries of the world get M.A.D. and destroy the world. (if you don't know what M.A.D. means, go look it up)

first of all in the first movie: they HEARD rumors of infction in paris and new york on the last days that doenst mean they outbreaked in paris and NY maby the frech and amrikans(bastards as they are) killed the infection before it could spread... and as the movies are fiction : the kid in 28 weeks is a carier anny floud contact whit others result in a outbreak.... so thats how paris got infected by the kid!

As a sequel yes, but overall I liked the movie too.

The way I understood the infection spreading to Paris? Remember, the kid got bitten by his (zombie) dad, but he had an immunity through his genetic defect (like his mother). However since he was younger and his immune system wasn't as developed, it just delayed zombification until they had gotten to Paris in the chopper (I'm not sure but I think you can see blood spit up on his window of the chopper, common sign of infection). Upon reaching Paris, he got raged and bit his sister and the pilot, the infection spread from there and boom, Paris infection.

I liked 28 Weeks Later, but I hated the kids... Kids in movies like that irritate me so much. They slow the pace of it, and make the whole film look like babysitting. GOD I HATE IT SO MUCH.
