View Full Version : What Is The Greatest Zombie/Infected Movie of All Time?

As a huge fan of zombie movies I am curious to see as to which zombie/infected movie that everyone here, the 411 forums feels is either their most favorite zombie/infected movie or which they think is the best of all time. Remakes and all are open to like and discuss as well....(except Night of the Living Dead remake, if anyone says they like that movie...you are an idiot)

Dawn of the Dead (original) is my personal favorite.

Please discuss....:)

Dawn of the Dead,too.

nothing can beat that.

IMO.

EDIT: Since you said "Zombie/Infected", would 28 Weeks Later count?

Sorry for the unoriginality but original dawn of the dead as well.

I think it would, I thought 28 weeks later sucked. 28 Days was good stuff, IMO.

28 Days Later was just original and showed the very real side of humans at their breaking point. It really gives you the sense the world around is crumbling.

I'd say 28 days later too. It hit home as it was set in my neck of the woods.

I really enjoyed 28 Weeks too actualy. The scene at the start where he's running from more than 30 infected is real nail biting terror at its best.

The original dawn of the dead for me only very narrowly beats 28 days and while I may not of thought much of 28 weeks the begining scene I liked and that scene is more proof that crowbar>zombies.

Plan 9 from Outer Space

If that's the movie I think it is lol!

I'm going to be original and say.. the original DotD. lol

28 Days later was good, up until the end, the whole thing with the military was just stupid imo.

The original 'Dawn of the Dead' is still one of my favorites.....except for that horrible, horrible 70s soundtrack.

Also, I really liked 'American Zombie' and 'Fido'.

It's Shaun.

For me it would be a tie between the classic Night of the Living Dead and 28 Days later.

The book is way better than the movie,it doesnt have a crappy and rushed ending.

My favorite movie is 28 days for the awesome infected

Original Dawn of the Dead: All the characters in that are just too awesome, and Flyboy has the best zombie walk ever.

Original Night of the Living Dead is right up there too, and at times I flip flop between which one I say is the best.

Yeah dude.....there are parts where the soundtrack is almost too 70s. Especially the part where they are getting the trucks moved in front of the doors to the mall. Still a great movie tho.

I need to post a picture of my zombie tattoos sometime. I have portrait style tattoos of the little girl from NOTLD, Flyboy from Dawn, and Bub from Day of the Dead.

Planning on getting a flyboy tattoo in the near future too, fuck yeah.

People with Flyboy tattoos, I'd assume that it's post-zombification Flyboy right?
Just checking :D

Speaking of Romero movies, who else hates Day of the Dead?
Bub was the only worthwhile thing in that crap fest.

I love the remake, with the exception of the pregnancy/birthing scene: I skip that every single time.

Great concept, but I can't handle it.

day of the dead. hehe yeah, bub was great. the dialog was pretty good but poorly delivered. i mean, i expected b movie acting but some of it was a little cheesedick. it's really hard to pick a fav but i'd have to go with the original dawn of the dead. Romero is king.
