Different skins?

Yes, I know that the regular infected will have lots of different skins or else the game would look boring. Not to mention how many people would whine and moan and complain about it if the infected didn't have different skins.

But aren't we forgetting something here???

What about the boss-infected? aren't they getting different skins too?


Example:
"survivor 1 - Dude, what's up with this boomers!? feels like we've killed THE SAME ONE over and over again like a 100 times already!

survivor 2 - yeah I know, what's up with that!? do boomers all look the same or is it the same one that somehow resurrects like Jesus and then comes back to try to kill us again?"


It's fine, I understand if this can't be done upon the release of the game. But would be nice to see this in a future update :)

ummm i think thats asking for a bit much... i kill the same "skin" over and over in every game i play and they keep "resurrecting like jesus" and it doesn't bother me or anyone that i know of

after release they're going to be adding more boss infected.... which is even better than new pants and socks for the boomer

allthough, just want everyone to know that I didn't wish to have like 10 different skins for a boss-infected. I actually wished for it to be quite simple, just 2 different skins, that's all.

that would be effective..... cos you need to relay on "the skin" of a boss to reconise em and but some lead in his/her/it arse

Here is an example:

Did this in photoshop. To the left is the original Tank skin and to the right is a slightly different one. As you can see the first has black hair, black eyes and a broken-off jaw so that his tongue is hanging out.


The other Tank does not have any hair, he's bald. his eyes are different. he does not have a broken-off jaw like the first one, and he also has a slightly paler skin.

Now imagine you playing the Hospital map. and your at the final part, your standing on the roof of the hospital waiting for the rescue chopper to arrive. waves of infected are flooding in and this is where the 2 tanks go to attack.

In my opinion, 2 different looking Tanks (like the once in the picture) would look A LOT better then 2 twin-looking tanks. but hey, that's just me.. ;)
