make sure you download the community 2.11 patch if you want to play online, but even offline you can type "addbots #" and add up to 5 bots (6 total survivors).

It's awesome and the creatures come in waves! You buy weapons from a merchant *cough*re4*cough*, and you find some just running around. The bot ai in the unreal games has always been good, so either online or off, it's awesome!

I bought ut anthology for $20. UT2004 mods rule!

My 5 favorites are:
1. Gears of UT (alpha) because it captures gears gameplay perfectly!
2. Killing Floor because it's basically l4d-like anyway
3. UT2004 rpg because rpg-style leveling goes with everything
4. Muralis because it's devil may cry style fighting
5. UnWheel because the stupid bots cause the most hilarious mass wrecks ever conceived. Also, racing, but who cares when you can do massive pileups instead?

yes, killing floor is awesome, but so is UnWheel, Muralis, and especially Gears of UT for those who like realistic games. Gears of UT with invasion is also just like l4d only more extreme since the monsters can fly and the levels are huge. Besides that, Onslaught is just awesome.

If anyone played ut99 before this or ut3 before this, you should know that it's more anime-inspired since you do more dodging than kiling most of the time. Also, the characters look slightly more wacky, and the levels are bigger.

The bot ai
I forgot to mention! To add bots, just start a LAN game (check off the "LAN" box in server options when you create a server), and just press tab for mini-console or ~ for full console, and type this:

addbots #
# is number of bots to add, and since the max player count in Killing Floor is 6, you can only add up to 5 bots (including yourself 6 overall)

Hey Nemesis I bought the unreal anthology also after reading your topic and I went to the killing floor site and it says that a few things are required to install killing floor like the v3369 patch, is the anthology unreal tournament 2004 up to date or do I need to download and install this patch.

I just wanted to say if you know your way around an INI file, you really can create your own experience with killing floor. If you have a decent computer that rocks UT2004, I mean, a crazy one.

I changed the waves for it would spawn 300+ of the normal zombie in a city map i had....

with 3 people (LAN) it was awesome, and it hardly lagged!

This is a fun mod to play every once in a while with your friends. It's not the kind of game you can play for hours each night. All you do is kill waves of different kinds of zombies. Still, I love this mod and it's well fun whenever you play it, just don't play it too much or you'll get tired of it. I've been a fan since 2005 and I still play it. Well worth getting if you have a few friends who can join you. Or if you're just bored and wanna blast zombies to hell.

woot, I got UT2004, the best of all it's my ping is a monster on every server! Lol.

Anyway, where is the Trader? The freakin bots from the nothing get monster weapons ... and I always get a monster ra** with my pistol/grenades

I found Trader in some maps, in all these maps they were near of spawn point. The worst to find is the one in West London map ( or something like this ), the trader is inside the police station and it is so damn dark :<

Edit: I reinstalled UT2k4 and got a patch and stuff and the game worked. Confusing at first because the maps are sort of complex and I found myself getting lost quite a lot, if you memorize the maps I'm sure it can be loads of fun. Not quite sure if it'll hold me over until L4D tho :S. It has rekindled my love for the Unreal Tournament series and I'm having fun doin that ;D.
