Favorite Zombie Game

Besides L4D of course, what is your favorite zombie/infected/or just scary game? I really loved Resident Evil 4 and F.E.A.R. Both of them were really scary to play late at night with headphones on! So what are your favorite creepy games?

Condemned, F.E.A.R (not the expansion, it really sucked), Silent Hill series and Call Of Cthulhu.

Mainly the Shalebridge Cradle mission from Thief : Deadly Shadows.

what really used to scare me was RE when i was a kid but now it still scares me but it doesnt take me 5 mins. just to have the guts to run around a corner with the thought of some thing jumping at me xD i also used to like AVP and F.E.A.R is real a real scary ass game for me and thats why i really like it. Doom 3 i never really beat but i used to play it a lot but my brother gave it away *tears* it was a good game and i found it pretty scary and zombie master is a pretty good zombie mod but i just think its the begining of whats going to be coming

I've beaten Resident Evil 4 5 times and got the best weapons in both normal and pro, I think that would tell you my favorite zombieish game all by itself, no?

I've been wanting to have some time to play through RE4, aren't they making a Wii version? I know RE Umbrella is coming out which is a rails shooter which should make for a good game to rent.

That worries me as I have rather, nocturnal, tendencies shall we say. So what happens when I'm down in my basement, alone, in the dark?
My guess is total loss of bladder control.

Indeed they are (and RE4 is a great game, totally worth a playthrough)

lol yup me 2 RE4 is the best RE for me cos its not all puzzle ast every corner u turn instead they just made some nice action in between each part of cool action and i love the way they made u still hold ur control during the movies.
i must've beat this game 6 or 7 times and the challanges were really fun as well and all the upgrading weapons and well.. the point it RE4 was off the hook!!

from what i read, and i read a lot about these things, the RE4 wii version isnt very good, the control scheme doesnt translate well with the over the shoulder view. also, they remove the laser sight and put in some crazy colored targeting circle that really takes away from the game.... and finally some of the control binds themselves are silly, for example you shake the controller to reload.. thats right you shake up and down the thing that makes you look around so if you can imagine your character spazing out to reload, from what ive read. thats what it is, but its not released yet so who knows.

i played the game cube version and i loved it. the zombies are... well not living dead. and it you dont really know how it fits in to the other stories. but it has for sure set the new standard for survival horror, im going to buy an xbox360 for RE5 if its not on the wii.

I dont know, if anything that was my least favorite part of the game. If you look at the very old videos of re4 in its beta its way more creepy and more like the old resident evils. It was fun though and still is a great game, i just wish it had more puzzles or parts relating to the old resident evil's.

F.E.A.R is a zombie game? How did I manage to miss the zombies?

Never played a Resident Evil game, they're console exclusive right? That'd be the reason; I have an irrational vendetta against consoles. They do seem decent though, kind of the pinnicle of zombie-themed gaming - for now.
