nVidia has just been blown out of the water. This thing has PCI-E 2.0

Not to mention it started at $250 USD

Not to mention that it scores lower than the 8800gt on everything, can't run AA and has had its priced jacked up by retailers.

Heh heh, but it's PCI-E 2.0 which allows for incredible capabilities. Also, the 3870 scores lower, but 3890 scores higher. Anywho, thought some people might like to know there is now a great alternative to the 8800's at like half the price. Don't get me wrong, I'd buy an 8800 GTX, as I don't really trust ATI. But hey!

LOL PCI-E 2.0 AND DX10.1? THIS CARD IS WIN WIN!

Especially with the 3890 which isn't out yet and will cost more than the 8800gt because its two fucking hd3870s on one card.

Yea, too bad NOTHING saturates a full PCI-E 1.1's bandwidth yet. Its just marketing. And even if the card was 5x better than it actually was, you'd need a board that supports PCI-E 2.0.

To date, theres only two boards with that. Intels X38 chipset, and AMDS 790X chipset. And considering how ill informed, and nooby you are, I highly doubt you own one of these $250 motherboards in your crappy 2 year old Dell.

Lol, I appreciate your hatred, but I built my own computer, and it can't really be compared to a dell. As I said though, I'm for nVidia, just waiting for their response to the 3890. They released a statement they'd be doing something. Series 9? But really man, you have anger problems lol. And I'm pissed now. You are saying that it's not worth it to buy a good new technology because you need to buy a new motherboard to support it? So screw Quad and Dual cores, and PCI-E if your board doesn't support it? And DDR2, it's too much work to get a new motherboard!? Wtf man? Sorry about the ranting, but I'm pissed off at this stupid little thing that isn't worth fighting about. But back to topic. I just posted this so people could know about a new video card that could be damn good. That's all, no flame wars wanted. :D

EDIT: I'm a douche for doing this, but I checked your posts and pretty much all of them are feeble attempts to start flame wars and etc. Don't post shit like that man.

Too bad hes right lol.

Telling people about new cards long after they are announced and then saying that they are superior to other cards when it is clearly not true is also a feeble attempt to start a flame war.

Don't carry this on anymore, you lost.

Again, PCI-E 2.0 means absolutely nothing in terms of peformance, its just capable of supporting more bandwidth. Moving an HD3800 from a PCI-E 1.1 lane to a PCI-E 2.0 lane will have NO performance benefit. Its strictly for marketing purposes.

And all my posts aren't feeble attempts to start a flame war. Okay, maybe they are, but if people weren't so goddamn stupid, and didn't post stuff they clearly know nothing about, I wouldn't have to go around correcting them. :D

Reminds me of the AMD Phenom... YEAH QUAD CORE!...@2.2Ghz.
The moral of this story is... don't fall for gimmicks. Wait for the real deal.

Well I just realized it was not new, so that was dumb of me. I hate flamer wars, unless it as an argument about religion, and this clearly isn't. SO :P

Hardly evangelical, as I meant the other side. And I love video games more than I dislike religion. Otherwise I'd be on some other site lol

I'm pretty sure you are an evangelical if you discuss religion on the internet.

Evangelical generally refers to evengelicalists, which are generally preaching about the benefits of religion, generally Christianity. Anywho, I don't really start huge religious debates, in fact never have. But I enjoy debating/arguing, especially about a topic as complex as organized religion. Back on topic. Sorry I thought this thing was new. It isn't, I get it, bleh bleh bleh yhadda yhadda yhadda topic closed as it no longer has a point :P
