I got this idea while reading the "More Boss Infected" thread...

What if there was one boss infected that was so powerful that an entire map of a campaign was dedicated to fighting it? It'd be like a boss battle against a single Infected, but it's so huge/complex that it could be controlled by several different players.

Like a Queen or something that spawns other boss infected...

Of course, that'd be going against the spirit of the game, but it'd be pretty cool. Just imagine leaving the safety of the red room, running around the map a little and noticing there aren't any hordes running at you... and then the realization slowly dawns on you that there's something even worse than all the hordes lurking somewhere nearby...

But I guess the Witch already takes care of that effect.

Might make an interesting mod!

The problem about it is that you'd need to have four "strangers" trying to control one thing. That's too complex and complicated.

If there were multiple people controlling the boss, it'd have to be gigantic. Maybe similar to big vehicles in oher games. Somebody could move it, while others controll claws or a ranged attack or something. But I don't see that getting implemented well.

Yeah, that's an interesting concept but making it fun for all of the controllers would be really hard.

Well, or yo could just have it be either AI or just be like the tank, have it switch off from player to player. Also, it would have to be in a giant barn like in EP2. Also, i want cinematic destruction sequences implemented in this game at least once, like my idea of in the (nonexistent) carnival map, the ferris wheel buckling and a nasty metal fatigue noise.
