These are the specs I can find, please tell me whether I can play it, even if it will run a bit slow.
Intel(R) 945G (Latest, constantly updated)
ACPI Multiprocessor PC
Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2160 @ 1.80GHz
HD Realtek Soundcard (I think)
This is all I could find, if you need more please let me know, also tell me how to find it, I'm hardly a computer whiz. (I'm not exactly looking to play online)
Also when I downloaded a copy of the demo it made it all the way to the title screen and didn't seem to lag. Then it wouldn't work again because of the shitty quality of the download.

Sorry if this isn't the right thread, I just wanted some help.

Your processor seems too slow, I think. Go to your steam games menu click help then system specs, paste it here. Also google "Can you run it" it's a site that scans your system to see if you can run certain games, it's very helpful.

Will I still be able to play it? Even if it does lag a little?

I'm not sure, do the steam thing and paste your full specs here. You forgot your graphics in your original post. My guess is you'd be getting low FPS if you do try it. It'd be good if you could rent or borrow the game first before buying it, just to see if it'll run.

I would really like to play this game, because so many people do and it looks like so much fun but Valve hardly ever releases games for the PS3 which is the only other gaming system I have.

Yeh, your processor seems to slow. Also looks like you got an intergrated graphics card. Doesn't look like you'll be able to play it at all. Youe best bet is buying a 360 or upgrading your computer, sorry.
Edit: Comps like these will run the game perfectly fine I think.

Your processor is the same one I had on my old computer and I could run it just fine. Your graphics card, however, is a different story. I don't think you'll be able to run it very well, if at all, with that. Try playing the demo first, I'm sure you can find it somewhere.

I found one, it made it too the title screen, but no buttons showed up to play it, so I closed it, then it wouldn't work anymore because one of the files got corrupted.

If anyone knows a safe and working L4D2 demo download I'd greatly appreciate it, I got the game on 360 but now with my new comp I'd love to see if it'd work.
Also masterdam, if your using a desktop you could just buy a new graphics card and fit it yourself, apparently it's easy enough.

Just download it off Steam.
Also, that processor is fine, it's dual core. But like everyone's said, you'll need a better graphics card.

They took the demo off steam on release as far as I knew. Anyone got a link if not?
