L4D1 & Windows 7 [Archive] - Left 4 Dead Forums

Hey guys. I reinstalled my windows few days ago, and since I got L4D2 I didnt bother to install L4D1. L4D2 runs fine, highest details. Well today I installed L4D1, recommended settings is set incredibly low and whenever I try to run some map it crashes back to desktop. I'll choose some map, loading poster appears, when full loaded -> crash.

Graphical drivers are newest version.

I think you shoulda went to Hardware section for this.. "I think".

I'm not sure how I may help, but I'm not entirely sure that's Windows 7 related. I run it just fine on 7.

I though about it, but since it is more "software" problem.... Whatever, I dont care where it is :)

My system specs - ATi Radeon HD 5770 1GB Ram, Intel Core2Duo 2.66GHz, 2048 MB Ram, Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

Before reinstall I also ran just fine, but after format c:\ l4d1 seems to be screwed up. :(
