Remember, before Team Fortress 2, where they had beta testers in a certain area, for example, Seattle. Then a few moths later, a Public Beta came out for it, if you bought Orange Box Of Course. Do you think because L4D is following a similar approach, TRS will make a public beta for a cost, lets say, pre-order L4D?

It would make sense that pre-orders get something special, and I have no problem if it meant getting L4D a week or so early.

So would I, but TRS is taking the same approach as Valve with TF2, maybe they will get a Pre-Order ready in time for the Holidays?

No way, I'm sure they'd announce anything with pre-orders weeks in advance so I don't think we'll see anything for some time.

Yeah, that's for sure. Not so shortly after closed testing.

Don't be so sure. While you could pre-purchase Orange box a month in advance, it was announced a week before the TF2 Beta.

Also, this is kinda off topic. Think that they'll release other games with EP3? Like the Orange Box? I told my friend who knows a tad of L4D, and he said stuff about EP3 and games it might come with. I doubt L4D and EP3 will be at the same time, but what games might they release w/ EP3? It certainly helped them to have TF2 and Portal, so who knows? On the other hand, that'd make L4D come out way later than we though or it'd make EP3 a complete surprise.

EDIT: (on topic) i hope that they release a beta like the one they did for TF2. that would be awesome
