AvP:R awesome!!! (spoilers)

Just saw it. I recommend to everyone. It was MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the first. No time for details, on PS3. The ending sets up the rise for Yutani Corp. with a left over Predator plasma caster. They pay respects to previous movies with some well known, but corny quotes. The blonde girl was hot.

There's one Predator throughout the whole movie, and he kicks some major ass. Everything from being a 1337 alien gunslinger to pounding an alien in the face, to both at the same time!

The Predalien is pretty much a badass but bigheaded xenomorph that counts as a queen too. Its pretty nasty, if you thought child birth was bad, watch this movie and you'll realize how pansy it is compared to wtf happened in the hospital. Since I put spoilers, I spoil! Predalien shoves some baby aliens down some pregnant chicks throat, and like 3 aliens pop out of her already giant belly. Fucked. Up. The Predator vs. PredAlien fight was pretty good, it felt.. 'thick'

The only bad things about the movie, the ending could have been longer. The fight should have been more epicz0rz, and they should have shown more of the 'last stand' part with the other survivors meeting at the evac. Other than that, they needed the netgun!!! Iconic the netgun is.

There was also a really good trailer for a movie called "Jumper" I suggest everyone look that up when you can... looks awesome.

I really have to disagree man. I found the movie to be outright boring to be honest. The characters just suck so you don't care if they live or die. Just like in the first AvP. About the only halfway interesting part of the movie is seeing what new toy the Predator is going to pull out of his ass next. This guy would make Batman jealous. But the movie just isn't scary an its mostly just action without much heart behind it if that makes any sense.

I have to say though that maternity ward stuff was pretty freaky. If I was still young that probably would have scared me but now im a pervert that has seen tentacle hentai so all it got from me was a raised eyebrow lol.

As for the ending I like the "goverment would never lie to us" line followed by the government basically pulling the good Resident Evil idea of lets nuke the city. In fact the ending looks frame for frame almost identical to Resident Evil 3's ending scene except the helicopter didn't crash. An the Yutani stuff is alright I guess but it just feels like them trying to deliver some fan service after raping the storyline.

Don't think it's meant to be. It's more of an action movie less of a horror movie like Alien saga was.
