Have a look here (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2032280010+1308920938&name=Gaming)

Edit: Not sure if they come with screens/keyboards/mice etc so make sure you check.

Good luck :)

Are you able to put a pc together yourself, or are you looking for a pre-built one?

You can get a better system for the same price if you can buy all the parts and put them together yourself. We can help spec all the parts, you just have to order them and put them together! (or get a friend to do it for you)

Do you need a monitor/case/keyboard/mouse?

Im looking for a pre-build one but if you can tell me the good parts that would be great because I watched a video on youtube on how to put together a PC. Umm yea I checked out that website newegg its pretty good. I already have a mouse, keyboard, and a screen. Well my buget is low, around 700$ or less.

With $700 I'd go for a medium grade home built PC. I'd go for an 8600 for graphics, a quad Intel if you can find cheap, 1-2 gigs of RAM (that should be like maybe $120), a decent Mobo, an ok Power Supply, a DVD drive and maybe 250 Gb hard drive.

Ok so I'm over by about $140, but you can shave off a bit or save up a tad. I have no idea about Power Supplies to Tek feel free to correct me.

Also, any advice on improvements Tek? I am building another computer for myself next summer, and I need a new video card, another 1 or 2 gb RAM, a new Mobo and processor, and probably a new PSU. So give me advice too. My budget is probably about $500 for those parts, so I think it's possible. I need Quad core and I would like a DX 10 card. Thanks guys.

You could probably run them at the highest with a great resolution and no lag in any size or shape. Frankly, if all you are concerned about is running CSS on WoW w/o lag, $700 is a lot.

Ask next summer :D

New hardware will be out, prices will have dropped on existing stuff. Any advice given now will be out of date by then.

Assuming you're buying from the states:

Leadtek PX8800GT 256MB GeForce 8800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail $215
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8 2E16814122044 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814122044)

ABIT IP35-E LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $90.00
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8 2E16813127031 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813127031)

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor - Retail $280
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8 2E16819115003 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115003)

RAM

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
Special offer, Send proof of purchase off and recieve $25 back! cost of RAM is then only $50!

I'd go with that PSU as well:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8 2E16817139004 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139004)
CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX ATX12V V2.2 550W
$90 but again has a rebate if you send of proof of purchase.. taking price to $75.00

So, thats comes to $710 after the rebates!

Trust me, that is a decent system that should manage pretty much anything. Crysis is badly coded and buggy as hell, but it should play it at a high graphic detail on 1280 x 1024.

Am assuming you're going to be re-using your existing hard drive(s) and dvd drive.

Up to you!

My spec comes to just over $700 without a case, if you want a new one and have the cash for it we can help you choose.

Yeah Tek, I was worried you'd say that. I'm thinking I should buy my Quad early as I'm pretty sure the price of Quads is going to jump as soon as more games come out that support them. So would you say there's anything that would be smart to buy in advance? B/c Mobo+Proccesor were on my list for buying in January. Thanks man. Oh yeah and w00t I chose a PSU that Tek agrees with, I'm really happy about that ^_^

Also, if you are reusing drives, Tek is way better b/c he used that x-tra $ to get a better videocard.

I'd personally never buy hardware in advance, because it moves forward so quickly! Quads will just get faster and more efficient, so although the latest ones will be pricey (as with any current hardware) the stuff that is available now will be cheaper in 6 months time, as better versions will have replaced it.

If you want a new pc in summer, then use the time to save up, and buy the best you can afford at the last possible moment.

Your best bet is to buy a motherboard that will be upgradeable for the next few years, that's what I did. I built my new PC this Christmas and I purposely did it in a way where I know I can upgrade to a quad-core and new graphics cards easily.

My new PC:

XFX nForce 680i LT SLI Socket 775 Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66Ghz 4MB 1333FSB CPU
XFX GeForce 8600 GT Fatal1ty 256MB PCIe w/Dual DVI x2 SLI
Ultra 550w X2 Power Supply / 120mm / Titanium
2GB of ram, which I'm upping to 4 next month
Running XP Home Premium

I run all my games at 1024x768 and it runs BioShock and CoD4 at full settings. Some of my older games like TitanQuest runs at full settings at 1280x1024.

Why didn't you go for the 8800GTX instead of 8600's?

Cheaper

Surely not by that much? Even an 8800GT or 8800GTS would have been better?

Just to say, I think this is a great deal! I think this is the best option thus far. That is a very good gaming system!

Edit again: Although, how much is a GeForce 8800GT 512MB? Can't be that much more expensive surely?

That pc is $900, I spec'd you one for $700!

If you have $900 to spend, then I can improve the spec.
But is there any point? Are you just looking for a pre-built system you can buy, stick your windows CD in and off you go, or can you put a few bits together yourself and save some money?

Yea but on this site you can like add the parts u want, so its like building your own but they put it together lol.

No, its the same as buying off the shelf.

Everything is more expensive, because they put it together for you. Motherboard and processor are far more inferior than the ones I chose.
