Okay, since I've beaten Bioshock, I've not been able to discuss it with anyone. None of my friends have played it, and there's always someone around who doesn't want it spoiled. So I thought I'd create this and see if you guys had any thoughts on the game you'd like to share.

First off, the "Would you kindly" thing.. Holy shit. When that was revealed, it just blew my mind.

Also, Ryan orders you to kill him. He is crazy, but I thought this was weird... and what about those reviving canister things? Wouldn't he just pop right out of them, since they are made for him? And the only way they revive you is because you have his DNA?

This game looked like it would have tons of freedom. But it didn't.... at all. Like, it had almost none. There is a good and a bad ending, and if you harvest even ONE of the little sisters, you get the bad one. I had a change of heart after the plot twist, but I still got the "DAYUM, YOU ARE EVIL" ending. Didn't seem like they put much effort into that..

So yeah, anyone else have any thoughts?

Oh, there was freedom in there. I'll explain it a little more if you could explain why you thought there was no freedom ^^

Well, if I hadn't done what he told me, I couldn't have progressed. Areas were only opened up once I had done what I was told. I moved forward, and did the same thing. Even the end of the game, you are forced to become a Big Daddy if you wish to continue.
