Resident Evil isn't dead just deformed now. Ever since they ditched the survival horror an just made the games about shooting stuff. Maybe 5 will be better but I doubt it. Looks to me like the good old RE series ended with the Outbreak games. Which is funny since those are why I was interested in L4D since it sounds similar.
