Yeah, I could see it being used for the automatic beats, but to replay a song exactly the same way would take practice.

I can definitely see it as a way to come up with songs tho.

A revolutionary new way of reading notes to play music!! I imagine songwriters downloading "blueprints" from the internet. Those could work like a stancil you would lay on the deck where you put those funky cubes on.

This isn't a new instrument, it's a new toy. Synthesizers have been around for a while, get more up to date guys.

meh just a flashy synthasizer, a gimick more then anything, i'd rather have a decent sequencer an analog synth and some guitars etc any day:P

What point? There have been really cool touch screen videos going around for a while now. In fact there have been really cool interactive 3D hologram movies going around too, which makes really cool touch screens out of date.
