thank you for the g4 trailer, I vowed to never go to gamespot again ever since they fired one of their writers for giving an honest review about kane and lynch. I have no respect for them now.

I enjoy gears of war, I didn't really like gears 2 though because of it's laggy multiplayer and the campaign in gears 1 seemed better to me.

Played the beta a little bit last night, it's pretty good. I have a few complaints, though. There should really be a limit to the number of downs somebody gets. I have seen people go down just to be revived by somebody around a corner, and then repeat, many times. Also, the camera zooms in a little bit too much when you roadie run, making it hard to see where you are going.

I understand that, but when your team is out of respawns and reviving a teammate is crucial, it gets very annoying not being able see what you're doing.

Campaign was a bit short, but I guess I didn't play on insanity.
Didn't enjoy fighting the lambent at all, just a bit boring to me.
Beast mode is fun as hell, Horde 2.0 seems very interesting and the bots only mp games I've played have been typical gears awesome.

Overall, pretty damn good. Ending was shit.
