What do you think of Dead Rising...i played it and liked it but, Personally i think it is stupid after you beat it. If they would of had a free-roam mode, and online survival it would have been much better I think...what do you think if you have played it?

I haven't played it extensively, but most of the feedback was positive, from almost everyone I talked to. So I voted based on that.
You also can't go wrong with Capcom+Hordes of Undead+Mall+Lawnmower.

one of the most chill nights playing video games in my life....feet kicked up on a table, classic rock blaring, and nothin but mowin down zombies with cars in the underground tunnels for the (I think) 54,000 kill achievement.
hooray for zombies

Gawd, I don't even own a 360 and this ranks as one of my top games ever. Small chainsaws For The goddamn Win.

I just LOVE to go ouside the mall, with all the zombies near the doors, pick up the lawn mower and start KILLING !
or simply taking a knife and throwing it at their heads is still fun :)

It is very very very very very frustrating. There arn't enough save points, the allied survivors are dumb shits and you have to baby sit them, and if you don't have a high-def TV, it is near impossible to read any text that the game displays.
If L4D becomes frustrating at any point, I doubt it is for the flaws mentioned above.

No it won't. You have friends to feel the frustration with you.

In all Valve games I haven't had trouble reading the subtitles or text on screen on a small television.
Mainly because the subtitles are frickin' massive on Half-Life 2.

Just to say,the survivors are DUMB,so keep a close eye on them

As long as you keep telling the survivors to follow you (and I mean pressing the button every second you're not doing something else) they'll follow you pretty well.

The demo is quite fun. All you do is senselessly beat zombies to death, well... whatever is greater than death. Not a single word comes to mind at the moment. I have played the retail version later and got quite bored of it due to the fact it is mostly movies. I prefer to stick to the endless slaughter of the undead in the demo version.

what are you kidding
that is probably my favorite game right now
it could have been better like coop

its a very fun game. only complaint i have about it is that the mall is a bit small. if u took out the huge park in the middle there would be very little of the mall to explore. once u beat the game also multiple times theres really no reason to go back unless u want achievements. but if u want a good zombie game for the 360 then this should be the game you buy until left 4 dead comes out.

this game rocks but mustacio is right- once you beat it to much times it gets kind of boring

I just got this game the other night... is this game fucking hard, or do I just suck? Seriously, I keep getting my ass kicked, and saves are a pain in the ass to get to.
Still, I'm loving this shit. Natalie got fuckin zombiefied, and Jeff beat her ass with a golf club.

The soldiers are easy just use the liftup/disembowl/facecrusher moves and their dead any of these moves are one hit kills. Plus it's not hard to get close thanks to their stupid AI.

this game is quite good but can get boring running around if they made the online a bit more better like coop and so on maybe it would of been a big zombie game not saying it isnt now but it could of been better

I had higher expectations for Dead Rising than what it truelly is, just like how we underestimated L4D.
When I saw the Xbox Live enabled logo, I was like "No...Way...", So I went to the Xbox Live feature, and it says "Connection to Xbox Live could not be established-* Not the downer part of it *-, Please retry connection to access Score Ladder features.*
...Score Ladder feature? Whats the bloody point of that?? "Oh wow! You've killed 7 times more zombies than what the population sign said!"
I don't rightly get that last part eather. How can you possably kill more zombies than what the population was? AND still have thousands of more zombies litterally crawling all over the mall?
I agree, game could have gone so much farther than that.

I just played it trough 2 times and i "lost" both. The first one i missed the heli and the second one the bombs blew up at Case 7
I love this game and it was so much better the second time i played it. I actully managed somehow to not complete or even get the First Case the first time. I only ran around killing zombies and helping like maybe 5 people or less.
Hella fun game and i would love a sequal with Coop !

I found the game amusing as hell.
Though it was a bit "Japanese". You know? Some sounds, ability to wear kid's or women's clothes, the funny hats.
All-in-all, a bit better controls and a bit more variety in the zombies. The A.I. was just screwed up in the game. Survivors were a bunch of mindless sheep.
But, the butchering zombies thing, I like.

Tell me about it, I was going to a 2nd playthrough to show my gf the game. I actually was able to save the girl in the courtyard from the convicts, which was incredibly hard for the my first time I played. Ok nice, then I saved those crazy brothers in that barracaded clothes store, and the traumatized woman with the dead baby. Here's what happens on the way back.
-Made it through the courtyard, literally a cakewalk.
-When we got to door entrace, SOMEHOW one of the dumbass brothers got left outside. I finally got him back, who knew going through a door was so hard, right?
-Thinking the door was the hardest part. Getting everyone to the warehouse alive, from the fucking double doors... ugh. It's seriously only a football field away...
-So on the way there, the brothers thought it'd be funny to stand still fighting zombies. Meanwhile I thought I could beat the ignorant AI system by keeping them 50ft ahead of me, NOPE. So I left those fuckers behind.
-Warehouse, ironically, another cakewalk.
-The woman who lost her baby and the lady from the courtyard only made it. (Note: The lady from the courtyard got stuck in the fucking water like 3 times.)
Now I remember why I only beat/played it once. The game itself is awesome, but the AI. Christ. It's like a racing game without replays, and absolute game killer for me.

Odd, I actually found it easy to get that particular group to safety. The f***ing convicts were a pain in the ass until I found an Uzi or got the Small Chainsaw.
I'm actually thinking of playing it through for the fifth time soon, 'cuz I borrowed it to a friend.. blah, blah, blah. This time, I won't give a shit about the survivors, I'll just watch the zombies tear them apart, laughing like a maniac for all the crap they made me go thru. But, still. A good game.
Worth buying I'd say. Or at least borrow it from someone.

Well don't get me wrong. My first playthrough I got them to safety easily, except for the girl, as stated before, because the convicts were owning me/her.
I'm just explaining how easily the AI can fuck up something as easy as getting the first group to safety. Plus I wasn't seriously playing to my hearts full desire, FBI & Spec. Ops training, blah, etc. I was just showing her how great(ly annoying) the game is. Regardless it's flaws, it's one of those 360 "must have"s in your collection. Actually the reason I bought a 360.
P.S. I didn't find the save points inconvenient as most people/critics claimed.

I followed this game very closely after announcement, got it on release day ( a month after North America... longest fucking month of my life. )
Played it, almost beat it 100% apart from a few small things like PP stickers.
Did the 7 day survivor... had the game on for 14 hours straight. Wasnt as boring as i thought it would be.
Dead rising ranks as one of my favourite games ever.

I can't believe anyone actually bothered to kill the whole population of the town though >_>

I'm enjoying it. It's just a severe pain in the ass to get to a save point, lol. The game was only $20, too, so it was worth it.

It's a good game that's rather marred by a number of small annoyances. The tiny, tiny, microscopic text. The poorly located save points. The f*ing respawning convicts. The NEED to re-start the game totally in order to actually finish it. The NEED to ignore everything optional in the game in order to get the best ending. All of those things really drag this game down when it SHOULD be a classic.
