Gamer.tv is a weekly gaming magazine show and on their January 5th, 2008 episode had a 3 minute video preview of L4D with all new footage. What makes this video stand out I think is that it shows the calmer moments of L4D.

Just download the first file (170 some MB), the "Extra" doesn't have anything about L4D.

EDIT: HAHAHA Who ever was playing at the end, panicked when the tank came in the room and Bill and Zoe was blocking the door, so he melee'd them until the tank hit them.

Woah, I'm stunned. Still I want release date info, beta news, new stuff other than hospital. *The advanced HDR is more apparent now. There is phong shading, etc.

Was a good video but the clips shown didnt really show how intense it could get! (from what ive seen at least) Still, i love gamer tv so nice find Squerl =)

Nice video, although if I wouldn't know L4D, I'd probably get a different impression than what the game really is about.

I think the music fit very well! Wouldn't mind if it was actual in-game music.

Anyway, anyone notice how massive the shotgun looks, particularly when Zoey is holding it?

I also like the different melee attacks with the dualies.

Btw - He's rarely ahead of his team, and only shoves when necessary.

That guy was a terrible when the tank came at them. He only shot him like five times and ran off to reload for some reason.

Glad to see some more footage of the hunting rifle. Looks powerful.

I think what this video illustrates quite nicely is that the game can be pretty breezy at times.. but then something like a Tank waltzing into the safe room can really cause some havoc, so you always have to be alert :)

I still can't figure out why you would need a scope. Kinda hard to miss the Incredible Hulk or a person running at you. :-p

Sweet. Also, I have yet to see a good opportunity to snipe the zombies. If the goal was to survive forever, rooftop sniping would be good. But it's not. It's about escaping.

it would be interesting if TRS addedd a few different modes of play, instead of escape all the time. We could have defense mode or some sort, baricade the building as best you can and hold until the the vechile arives to take you to safety.

I dont think the guy paniced when the tank came, i think he was just very eager to get out of there before he died, and then got very impaitent when he found the door was blocked. If some dick was in your way and a tank was hott on your ass... i think its safe to say you would do the same.

nice to have some more footage, but ive never seen a vid with someone using the scope on the hunting rifle, and wont having crosshairs with it be too easy?

i was under the impression it would have no crosshairs like the AWP or SCOUT rifles in CSS:S

Hell if I know, I barely used the hunting rifle. That was all squerl and I know he scoped plenty. I would just like there to be footage of it.

The scope actually does work, just nobody seems to use it too much on the urban maps. It'll probably be used much more on the rural maps with their large, open areas.

Great Footage, nice to see some creepy quite moments in the game. The voice commands are amazing... I've never heard Louis use those phrases in any other videos.

I've always wondered, if right click is to melee, then what would the default button for scope be?

Okay in the video posted above made by Shrub (Part 3a) at around 8:45 you can see what I think is Shrub trying to figure out the zoom key, then sniping some zumbies. Shrub, I too wonder what the snipe key is, as does Shadow, and, as I am guessing, you did too.
