Ya its not a movie game, its just based on the IP like Arkham Asylum which turned out fairly good. I'm enjoying the demo deathmatching just fine and I'm pretty interested in the 3 man Coop campaigns.

Online plays out a little like Exteel ( or armored core/mechassault to a lesser extent) mashed with Unreal. And transforming. Also theres leveling and perks for customization like your standard modern shooter nowadays.

Lol I still love AvP. Guess my opinion of games is left of mainstream but I didn't steer you wrong with L4D did I :( We'll see once the reviews come out, but I'm expecting something around an 8 if the co-op campaign turns out well.

Not too hard once you fiddle with it. I thought the controls picked up pretty easy after a game or two.

IGN gave it a solid 9 so fuck you guys, I wasn't crazy. Released on steam at a pretty bargain price too considering its a new game. Still debating if I'm picking it up right away or anything but its Transformers, so uh. Yeah.

The idea of caring about what IGN gives isn't based on any trust in the reviewers. Its just that no matter how super cool it is to hate on IGN reviews, they have the greatest impact on how large of a player base the game will have and therefore has a major hand in its longevity.

i tried the multiplayer demo on Xbawks and i tried the singleplayer in stores while i was at Best Buy....meh....it's good for a Transformer game...but not a GOTY for me :/ in fact...not close
