Hi there,

ever since the past couple of updates on Left 4 Dead 2, I'm getting a video aberration whenever i play. When playing as Infected (Versus), the health indicators of the Survivors will extend out from each survivor and block a significant part of the screen (so i guess a splash of green/yellow and/or red across my screen). When I play as Survivor, I'll get a black splash extending from the health indicators of fellow survivors. It usually only happens when the survivors are behind things (in different room).

really pissing me off. any advice would be appreciated

My specs are:
- Vista 32
- Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT (newest driver)
- Intel Core Duo 6600 (2.4Ghz)
- 3GB RAM

Have you gone through the basic things like Verifying Integrity of the Game Cache and such? I don't think it's an issue with your graphics card, it might just be an error in the installation. On L4D I used to get a strange pink block in the corner of my screen that would slowly grow until it eventually enveloped the entire screen, after reinstalling L4D however it never happened again.

To verify your game cache, right click L4D2 in Steam and go to Properties. Click the "Local Files" tab and then click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache". It checks to make sure everything is in place and downloads any files that may have gone corrupt or deleted.
