I thought I'd share one of the funniest bands I've heard in a while. Its basically 80s hair metal if it was 100% honest about what it wanted to sing about. None of it is work safe.

I only knew about them because my brothers active in the LA music scene, so hes seen them playing as Metal Skool on the sunset strip. I hadn't listened to the album for a while and I realized that I should spread the love. I was surprised to see that it was actually so high on the billboard 200 when it released.

My friends dad, or step-dad whoever he is, was in a christian rockband called "Penguin Lust" lmfao. In the 80's I think, wasn't a real popular band but they did tours and stuff.

I've always liked Steel Panther as much as I like Tenacious D, sure I don't buy their CDs and listen to them in the car but I think they're pretty hilarious.

My friend introduced me to this band last year. He used to like Iron Maiden but know he likes Steel Panther. He acually started to dress hair metal for a while, him and another friend of ours. He also tells me that Steel Panther is gonna have their own show. I don't know where he got that information, but whatever.

Have you ever heard Zimmer's Hole? Those guys are pretty funny, too. They sort of go on the less popular track of 80s bands (Celtic Frost, Venom, Exodus, Etc). Their latest CD is called 'When You Were Shouting At The Devil....We Were In League With Satan' and there's a line in the title track where he says 'Glam rock can suck a cock, it's strictly for the closet gay'. Steel Panther made me think of that line LOL.
