Congrats to Infinity Ward for getting CoD4 so high and for beating the likes of Halo 3 and PES (and yes I know that Halo3 was a platform exclusive, but CoD4 was only released in late Nov, that's a helluva lot of units shifted!)

I still cant get my head around why Fifa/PES games are so popular, maybe its just coz i dont like football games, but they are released clockwork every single year with usually little difference to the previous.
And people part with cash everytime for it.
Maybe the cross over to next-gen warrants this years football games to be more popular then before but hey, what do i know.
Deffo not a suprising list realy, and yea im glad to see CoD:4 up there even though i couldnt be bothered to buy it (i rented) for the single player.
If the list had gone on a few more months, i wouldnt be suprised if The Orange Box made it on there, for shear value for money i would assume lots of units are gonna be sold.

Coming from a guy called Arsenal, I gotta say that's a surprise. I agree it seems redundant to buy the same game year on year with the only changes really being with who's on the teams.
But then look at a lot of the footie fans that buy the games. They fork out a small fortune for the new seasons kit and merchandise every year! So it follows that they would want to keep up with their mates in the games stakes as well.

I do have to admit i'm responsible for one of those units sold! }[
Not sure it's helping to sharpen up the brain though coz I keep forgetting to play the damn thing!
Wii Play is a bit of a fudge on the list though. It goes directly in line with the sale of Wii as it came packaged with it in most deals. Same could be said for Brain Training with the DS.
Also, it probably helps FIFA08 figures that it is also packaged with many 360's/PS3's and even some PC's and laptops from PCWorld and Curry's.
