Just finished watching this movie. It Kicks So Much Ass. This isn't even an 'if you liked shaun of the dead' type of thing, this movie is simply incredible. There are scenes that I can't describe on the forum because the sheer awesomeness of them would cause the internet to simoultaneously implode, explode, orgasm, and die.

It's been about 15 minutes since I watched it and I'm still pumped. Granted excitement and adrenaline tend to make me want more of that and the drive home was slightly quicker than it legally should've been But Still.

By now you probably at least know what it's about, a kickass cop in london is promoted to seargent in a perfect rustic little town where the biggest crime is graffiti. Things escalate from there. And it does move a little more casually than the normal action movie, at least to begin, but for you action fans the payoff comes in an incredible fashion.

If you like humour, that's there in every scene. Start to finish they've got awesome jokes, quite a few riffs off of small town attitudes and action movie conventions, and they're very good at playing off of their own jokes. If you don't know what I mean, you'll see.

I think my friend, guy I saw it with, describes it pretty well:

Ryan - Woot I'm a game tester! says:
I'm still pumped from that movie.
- Tom - VIII says:

The horror bit is just a few parts, so don't worry if you don't like that sort of thing. And if you do like blood and guts, well there isn't really any guts but in those few parts there's probably enough blood for you.

Anyways, GO SEE IT! DAMN!

Watched it quite recently myself - definitely not a bad movie, though it didn't beat Shaun of the Dead for me.
Still, can't help but love Peggie!

Was alright, nothing great by any stretch of the imagination. Probably doesn't help though that I don't find simon pegg funny in the slightest.

hooray for zombies

Damn, I was invited to see this movie with a bunch of friends and I declined... I thought it would suck. Didn't look too funny from the commercials is why.
