Cold Stream has actually gotten a lot more polished since the first release, anyone have any thoughts on the campaign itself and how the new special infected will play in the L4D2 version of Dead Air?

I see alot alot of charger and jockey rape up ahead
Just done my part and got the achievement. Cold Stream seems to have changed a fair bit since I last played it.

I hated Blood Harvest. I think I played it twice the entire time I've owned L4D.

Yeah, probably my least favourite campaign.

The problem with Blood Harvest is alot of the maps look really similar and lack the sort of "memorable location" every other map in every other campaign has. Even Dead Air, which is mostly skyscrapers and business buildings manages to have some memorable locals. I feel the same way about Swamp Fever in L4D2.
But man that farm house finale is one of my favorites in the L4D series.

Blood harvest was one my favourite campaigns besides no mercy. It was probably the darkest one and it had the best atmosphere if you ask me, plus the final was damn fucking awesome.

It's taking forever to update, but I want to see the changes they made to the later maps. Apparently the scavenge map plays a bit differently as well...

Yeah I'm not sure why either. Would have been a good strategy to jockey them through it, but no, you have to go through it now.

I think they were trying to give infected more of an edge. When we played the horde didn't stop, so you need to make it to the saferoom from there through a horde the entire time. That map doesn't have too many infected spots, since its all indoors several of the ranged classes like hunters and smokers and maybe even spitters don't have much ranged height differences to attack from. I think valve were trying to make up for this by making the survivors endure a rolling crescendo to give the infected more opportunities to attack.
