Visual effects are very nice, story is meh. But it's still a must see for half life fans.

I was a little confused too.

Was that his memories that the combine were watching up until the end where he saw Gordon Freeman and they then replaced it? Or did he simply get rescued by some rebels and keep getting knocked out before he finally got to a jeep and escaped?

Still not bad though. It's the first time I've ever seen an indie film that succesfully blends in-game elements enough to make them look like part of the real world. There were a lot of elements that looked straight out of the game yet seemed to blend so well with everything else that I hardly noticed.
