can anyone recommend a good picture creation program plz? the main thing i want is some good draw/paint tools etc and the ability to not have backgrounds to make some decent spray's for ccs, thanks.

some working torrent links would be nice, thanks.

oh i heard paintshop was good but i would like a few recommendations lol:)

Photoshop
Corel draw (9? 11? whatever the most recent one is)

Photoshop is good, takes some getting use to.

I think I heard of something called GIMP, its like photoshop?

Yeah GIMP is great, I use it when I'm designing frames for games as well.

ok ive got paintshop pro 7 now:) seems to be working fine, but could someone tell me how i'd create a pic with no background using it? i want to make a css spray with no background so it looks like a proper spray but cant work it out, anyone here use paintshop and can awnser my question, cheers!

I'm not a fan of paintshop though, i'd recommend getting photoshop if you can.

You have photoshop? Then its simple, when you create a new image (ctrl+n) a dialog box will pop up, one of the options is 'Backround Contents'. Simply change from white to transparent and click OK.

Those last tutorials I found were for paintshop pro, so ignore them if you're using photoshop now.

its ok ive done it, to use a transparent background image it needs to be tga:)

Puscifier like technobry said MS paint is a serious program hey ! No sarcasim or anything im dead serious you can make some real art on ms paint lol. As for transparent backround well i have no idea how to do that :P

Source uses .vtf for storing its textures. You need to convert them from .tga to .vtf using vtex.exe, part of the source sdk.

no u don't tga files work fine for transparent background sprays:)
