Xfire - Teamspeak

Hey guys.

Just post here if you guys got an xfire. Mine is shortstuff7.

Also, I might be able to get us a teamspeak server which I can make it the Left 4 Dead 411 Teamspeak if you want. All of us can just hang out there and talk with each other, play games and hang out. Also, when L4D comes we got communication!

does it cost money to get teamspeak or is it free to dl?

I dont like vent. The voice with TS is so goood. Besides I dont even have a mic sooo... I guess if you ever got around to it ill just be there listening.

I could get TS for free, vent is money. Plus Vent seems to lag me a bit more because of the higher codec.

i have a ventrilo server that holds 10 and will for a few months *(havent decided if ill keep it up) of course it could hold more ppl for less time tho.

You can change the codec with teamspeak anyway if i recall correctly. I've used both in the past and never really noticed a major difference anyway.
I'd def be up for using one anyway, we should all try and get some hl2 mods or play some css or something.

costs money to rent but free to download and congrats to sir monster for being the first other then me from the fourms to join my vent!!!

both are free to download. both cost the same to run a server. i choose the vent software because of the codecs, simpler interface and better features.

frog and squerl since your are owners of the site and moderaters and you guys own you can get admin for the vent if you choose to join it.

also until all you guys start joinin the vent it will be a little quiet if just one of you are on (obviously)
