What kind of computer do you use?

I have a Desk Top

I think Desk Tops are better.
They have no limit of upgrading and they r more comfy for playing games.
For a lap top u have to buy a mouse and keyboard if u wanted and they cant be totally
re-newed like a desk top can and u can also make ur desktop computer look pretty and u can also throw in those nice tube air conditioner things to keep it nice n cool

The only reason you'd want a gaming laptop is if you travel alot and can't be lugging your desktop round with you. Apart from that I can't see any advantage with having a laptop over a desktop if you're just sat at home gaming.
You're paying at least double the amount for a laptop that has a similar spec to a desktop, and has already been said, its very limited when it comes to upgrades.

Desktop is actually better for gaming and such as it's easier to update, but the portability of a laptop is still useful.

I'd say it's good to have both. Laptop for work and such as it's portable, and a desktop PC for gaming and such.


And yes, i can run HL2 with graphics above medium.

well i use a desktop and upgrade regularly so i can get the most out of games. I like eye candy, and unfortunately, it comes at a cost.

I have both... Laptop good for Wireless and Watching TV in the garden without cable :)

Desktop best for gaming IF you have your own room for it to be alone with it.
