Update: I asked Gametrailers support about the missing video, and was told that the developer requested it be taken down.

Update:

I asked Gametrailers support about the missing video, and was told that the developer requested it be taken down. I've updated the main page with Darksora's YouTube upload.

I'm not sure why Valve wouldn't want the trailer up given the overwhelmingly positive response, and it seems weird that they would take it down after it's already been seen so many times.

The only thing I can think of is would be if they didn't have the rights to the music in the video, and don't want to get into legal trouble with that.

Now that is odd. It means that Valve has tons of footage not yet ready for release then. This was one of them.

Yeah I think gametrailers made this themselves from bits an pieces of footage they got during their trip to Valve an just played cool music in the background.

sorry for the dp, but does anyone else think the last scream the witch makes when the blood splatters on the train seem like fake or added in? it sounds like gt added that in. and the police sirens when the infected are running next to the cop car.

Flame me away, but... that 'trailer' was horrible. Made me think again why ive been waiting months for this game. I sure hope they step up some of the visuals before release

it was a good video however I think it was taken down beacuase GT put it together and not valve. I think this because if Valve/TRS put it together there would be newer footage and not old footage that was posted on the web by other people they would have put their own footage in with new stuuf such as cornfield.

GT seems to have allowed shacknews to put up the Goldrush video yet they put it up without any editing: http://www.fileshack.com/file.x/12053/Team+Fortres s+2+-+Goldrush+Movie (http://www.fileshack.com/file.x/12053/Team+Fortress+2+-+Goldrush+Movie) So yes indeed it was official tech videos that Valve gave them. GT just edited them but Valve wanted them to be taken down because they were not ready for the public yet. So yes, Valve do have tons of L4D videos but they are not ready for public viewing. :-/
