Well I just created this pic last night about 5 minutes after I downloaded the photoshop trial. Its louis getting mauled by a zombie, a hunter, and a boomer. I still havent figured out how to change the lighting to the guy in the suit looks darker. Comments and criticism are appreciated, any tips on how to use photoshop are too.

Considering, it was your FIRST 5 minutes with PS, it's pretty good. Do you have the characters in layers? If so, then try to adjust the Contrast and Brightness on the Infected to make them blend in (lightning-wise).

Mark the layer you want to edit on, press the circle under the layers that look like a Ying Yang kinda-circle and then Brightness/Contrast and test it out.

make them look darker by double clicking the layer you pasted them on (opens layer options), and then playing with the hue setting? Or select the layer (ctrl + left click? alt + left click? i forget which but you must click the image (box thing)) then create a new layer just above the layer you selected from, and paintbucket black or dark brown in the selection, press alt + d to deselect the selection, then on the layers window, on the new dark layer you've made, flick through the lil drop down list you have there, and play with the opency as well. i think hue, multiple or darken might be a good one. also you could play with the layer ..err.. crap whats it called XD mode?.. um.. i ca't rememebr but its in that edit dropdown list at the top of the photoshop window lawl.
