It pissed me off in Apocalypse how they portrayed Jill as a pussy..and Carlos Oliviera looks more like Chris Redfield than a Hispanic dude. Then they took the "Ashford name and stuck it with a prof.

Now apparently this one has Claire in the story. Let's hope they don't portray her as a pushover (which they will). I'll be glad when they stop making the RE movies.

When I've been playing the game since the original Resident Evil came back on the Playstation back in the day..no.. I still have that huge ass box it came with too..

And since it carries the name of the game...I consider it part of the storyline, and they butchered all of what the original was to make it better for Hollywood's already shitty standards.

I'm sorry..if you liked the terrible acting from the first two movies..then you might just like this shitty one coming up..I'm sorry..those movies were on level with The Punisher movie..

Resident evil did get fucked up. The first one was pretty sweet, the second was ok but SO dissapointing with the characters involved. The third will prolly be dumb too. Once they started introducing characters from the games, even though it was cool, it ruined the story line. Carlos DOES look more like Chris than Carlos does. Jill is just odd. Claire i'm ok with for now but I already don't like her character, and Sherry I think it is, WAY too old for her character. They should've just made the origionals based on the games or made something completely seperate instead of mixing it in. And if they're gonna keep adding characters, show me Leon.

Btw, anyone know wtf that tyrant thing is that she kicks in the trailer? In that one laser hallway, looks like some sort of tyrant. I'm also confused as to why she's having flashbacks but than she's actually in the hive again o.O;

Re4 was the greatest gameplay wise, but once again because they are straying from zombies it's destroying my love for RE. RE 1 was good, but when 2 and 3 are played THAT is how Re should be. They are so old and cheezy yet so amazing, and you just can't beat zombies. The only thing that sucked were the controls and they fixed that with Re:Outbreak and Re4. So yea, no zombies is starting to piss me off. And make me sad ;_;

Most of us are going to see it because it has RE slapped on it, and we want something to be pissed about, mainly that they fucked up RE horribly. Alice's abilities are ripped off of Wesker, and I personally think Wesker should be in it and lolololololwtfprawlown Alice.

Although, they did an awesome job of butchering EVERY RE game character so far. High five for you, Hollywood!

So, in retrospect I do believe if it came down to it, of COURSE Alice would win and Wesker would die and find some bullshit way to come back, or just lose a fight. I've yet to see it, though I really want to. I have mixed feelings about the movies... I mean, I love them, because they are Resident Evil, and are at least supposed to be set in the Resident Evil story line, but I also hate them because of how much they twist the story, and make it nothing like the game. Alice would've been fine with me, but it pissed me off when she turned out to be superhuman =\

It was awesome!

Ok, so you probably didn't expect that. But in my opinion, it really was. I was so ready for this movie to flop and be a piece of shit and I actually enjoyed it a whole lot. It's SO much better than the second one. Alice's character is great, I like her character now. I liked her in the first movie, hated in the second, she's awesome again. She is portrayed much like she is in the first movie and it works alot better. Claire replaces Jill and it's ok, but the character just doesn't feel like Claire, it feels like someone trying to be Claire. I just didn't get that connection with the character. Carlos never felt like Carlos, and still doesn't. That doesn't mean these characters aren't good in the movie, but they don't feel like the game characters. Also, Albert wesker is in the movie. And he looks so much like him except for one thing, his hair is really short and not slicked back. Unfortunately, this kills the character and kills him too. GOD! Can't they just slick his fucking hair back?

The plot: The plot was actually decent, try to stay on the move and survive. The entire world is infected and everyone is trying to survive by moving wherever possible. Claire has a pack of people that she helped survive and they move all over the world looking for gas, food, places to survive. She's with Carlos who acts as one of the leaders. Alice is by herself doing the same, trying to find a place to stay to survive. She eventually meets up with Claire and Carlos in an explosive situation and they decide on what to do next. Meanwhile, a scientist is working on a cure to the disease that actually makes the zombies humane. A succesfull attempt turns a zombie into a somewhat human being, knowing what a cellphone is and how a block puzzle works. Yet they are met with failure as the zombie becomes violent and super powerfull. During the movie, they try to get this formula to work.

Now to get into the dirty work, here are BIG SPOILERS!!!!! BIG SPOILERS!!!

SPOILER ALERT!

At the beginning of the movie, we are treated to what seems to be the beginning of RE 1. Alice wakes from the bathroom, puts on the dress, and heads into the living hall of the mansion. She walks into a similiar room to the laser room we've seen before as a laser beam shoots at her. She hops over the first one, the second one becoming a net. She jumps incredibly high and into an air duct. She crawls through and falls into what seems to be an Umbrella hospital. She makes her way to the main hallway and pushes a recliner chair towards the entrance. A giant blade slices down and cuts it in half, scaring the hell out of Alice. She moves past the blade, inching towards the door when she seems to trip some type of switch. The middle of the umbrella logo flies up into the air and unleashes a barrage of bullets. Alice is dead. A doctor comes to scoop up her body, and they bring her to the disease ridden surface of the world. She is tossed into a pit which is revealed to be a whole mess of..... Alices? CLONE! That's what I thought, and I was right. They were trying to cure the disease by cloning her somehow.

Alice's psychic powers are getting stronger yet she doesn't like using them. She walks into a gas station to open a room with a rotten, dead, fly covered body in it. She quickly grabs a journal underneath his body and leaves. I liked this because it was so RE style and it made me feel warm on the inside. The journal had a bunch of research in it about how the infection has NOT reached alaska yet. When Alice meets Claire and Carlos, they decide this is what they need to do. The one time they go to Vegas to get fuel, an intense action scene takes place where zombies who have been treated with the cure have been unleashed. Remember, this cure only works to a degree, they than become SUPER VIOLENT AND POWERFULL. This scene is crazy because.... well.... everyone except for the major characters die. From about 30 people, about 8 or so are left =P This is also when they find an easier way to get to alaska, a helicopter, which they follow back to the Alice clone grave site. Now, might I add to this. LJ, the black guy from the first movie is dead. Infected =P Carlos has been bitten again, about to be dead. So Carlos takes a truck, drives it through a mess of zombies and lights up a fucking doobie before blowing up at least 800 zombies or so. So everyone gets into the chopper except for alice that goes down into the hive to finish it all. Everyone is dead, except for one problem. The professor that was using the cure was bitten, and used the cure on himself, in massive quantities. So he starts to transform. Alice talks to the red queen's sister, another female hologram and she helps her out. Alice goes to encounter the professor... WHO FUCKING TRANSFORMED INTO THE RE1 TYRANT! *Rocks out heavy air guitar style and bangs head* Ok, so that was a bit much but it was fucking awesome. The fight was a bit short and cheezy, Alice used psychic powers, tyrant screams and blows up a room, shitty. Alice gets backed into the laser grid room as the beam comes towards the tyrant, chopping him up. Before Alice is toast, it dissapears. One of alice's clones turned it off. So now alice meets with her clone, only to find out there are THOUSANDS of them. Alice now has an army and is headed for.... TOKYO! Because that's where Albert Wesker is at.

I thought the movie was really good. I liked it, it was different from other zombie movies. People are just pissed off its veered from the games, but hullo people. Its common sense that they arnt allowed to make the movies like the games. Capcom wouldnt allow it, even if they wanted to. Why would they want something to be created to hurt the sales of their franchise, and ruin future plot plans, etc? This movie was great. Plus, there's most likely gonna be a RE4. Milla Jovovich said she might not come back. People may be sick of her, but the next movie is gonna need her.
