How Well Would YOU Survive Where You Live ?

Okay, So if your in the middle of an Zombie outbreak, How well would you survive in your own house ? How do you live, do you live in the city ? How many people live in you apartment / House ?
Just thought of this and i didnt found anything when i searched.

I think i would survive well in a Zombie outbreak. We are 3 people and 2 Ferrets (Pets) in our apartment. Its Mom, My brother and me. We live on the third floor which is the highest. Only 1 way to get in and thats the door obviously. We live really near all the stores, friends and such. My plan is to take over the whole Third, and second floor and barricade. Invite friends and family to live here. We dont really have much weapons but we would probably raid the apartments and stores. I live in a rather small "Town" which is good as then we could spread out and live in different apartments.

I live in a quiet neighborhood with a bunch of old folks so I'd survive alright. However i wouldn't have much of an arsenal.

I would survive fairly well in this little apartment place. But considering I live in Vegas, I wouldn't survive in the city for too long. Especially if I was stupid enough to try and go inside a casino for whatever reason.

Now that i think about it, my house is very defensible. 3 entrances but you can barricade with the shitload of wood i have in my cellar/ Also, there's like 4 places to shoot from. And it's on a hill.

i think i would do ok. my house itself is ok but i wouldnt stay here. there's a street about 10 minets walk away thats got a long block of flats on eather side of the road. just a simple job of building a makeshift wall at eather end or the road and you have yourself a completely self contained compound, with its own carpark and large area of grassland for growing crops! its 4 storys aswell so shooting from the top floor gives u the high ground and makes it hugely deffensible.

lol any normal person must think we'r all crazy planing out what we're going to do in a zombie apocalyps, but if the shit dose ever really hit the fan then we'll have the last laugh :D

After some time without posting, here i am to show you i am still alive, i have a cake also.

My house is just perfect for a zombie outbreak, The walls are very strong, they are pure stone (It's an old Basque country countryhouse), It would be easy to fill the entrances with blockades, only problem would be guns, don't have ammo for that shotgun 8D.

And weapons, well, we do got some knifes and pipes and such. And when i say Zombie outbreak i mean Zombies, Shamblers, and those are rather easy to handle with for what we know, just because they are slow and stupid. I would try to gather as many survivors as possible and do as in Land of the Dead, like build walls and shit around the street i live on.

I live in the South East of England. It's one of the more densely populated parts of the planet, and we have heavily retrictive gun laws (in normal circumstances a good thing, during a zombie attack, not so much).

So i'd say that i'd be a zombie finger buffet in pretty short time, but i'd go down fighting ........ 'choke on it you bastards, CHOKE ON IT Argggggurglearghhhhhh.........'

Well, my house is pretty solid, we have a sliding door outside that has no deck, so the zombs cant get to it, the stairs to the foyer leading outside is wood, and could easily be destroyed. Most of the hunting rifles we have are in my parent's rooms. All we'd have to do is get the TONS of ammunition in the garage. I feel so American when I go in there, there's just shells and rifle rounds and pistol rounds everywhere. It's probably not legal to have them strewn about like that in Canada either...

Your not kidding! Read 'World War Z'. Max Brooks gives a very good account of waht happens when New York goes all zombie, all the time. The Battle of Yonkers is an entertaining read, as well as the celebs holed up in a compound in the Hamptons (which is on Long Island right?).

yah. i have a huge abandoned house way up in the woods behind mine all by itself. I would go there with my friends and bring a bunch of shit. and when they attacked, id call Eddie Riddenbacker to shoot them all with his plane! and then Thymisticles to stop them from crossing the lake. and last but not least...waldo. to keep them searching which keeps them away from us

I live in a small town, like 2000 people or more. We kinda live on a hill, with about a 100 more people in the neighborhood. In my house there is my mom and my step dad. No guns except from a sword. Multipliable way into the house, making it hard to defend. Short way to the local store. There is an old cottage way up in the woods, I Could stay there. I could also chech other houses for weapons, I know who have them. I don't think i could survive on my own though, need someone to keep me going.

I'd be screwed, my house is well built but one story and nobody has guns or is allowed guns in AUS, I'd lead a gang of survivors out into the out back with trucks full of food and as much ammo as I could collect at the security department at the arcade. But if anyone so much as says something weird its nightey night for them, friends or not.
The first place I would head for gun shops along the way and raid police departments, no elderly though, they would slow us down, heres my rule, if u need a stick or wheel chair to move, u get left behind to make time for us fitter and more muscular survivors

I have it all...secluded way out in the forest, tons of food, lots of wood,etc. for boarding up windows. 3 stories with VERY easy access to the roof....the ONLY and probably most important thing we don't have is GUNS!!!!! we have lots of shovels, bats and powertools though...

I think I'd be fine till it was time to go restock on food, then I'd be in trouble
