And in other news, incase anybody didn't know, the Episode 2 Black Box isn't going to come out. It's only the orange box now for $50 you get HL2/Ep1/Ep2/TF2/Portal.

She was a human, then she got turned into a zerg, but then she like rebelled or something. I can't believe there is going to be a starcraft 2. I hope it will be great, I have confidence in Blizzard. I remember playing starcraft for hours everyday. I think I need to find it and play it again.

She goes crazy and starts killing all the hive minds so she can control all the zerg. Then something about here fusing Protoss and Zerg DNA, that was the basis of the new race, I heard it was just a rumor though. And if it is true, I dont think it'll be playable its one of those, super powerful things u cant play with.

So many zerglnigs on screen, SO COOL.
I dontl ike the shields Space Mariens use though.

Oh man I cant wait to play like Turret defense, DBZ sagas (lol) and like Art Contests on this new system. SO AWESOME!

The new engine is prettty cool, its got Havoks physics. I dont know why though, considering its in space it'd be cool to see debree floating around, but instead they fall... well down.

It could use some sharper textures (although that might be something to do with the design rather than engine capabilities) and HDR. Playing C&C3 with HDR, its kinda hard to go back.

The units are pretty solid though, they're very responsive, doesn't look like they'll get stuck around corners and stuff.

The reason Starcraft sold so well is because it was so compatible with all types, lowend computers includes, but for SC2, I dont think it will run well on lowend computers. I guess that is inevitable since PC gaming is advancing fast, but it will lose some popularity because of that im sure.

Hopefully my it will support DX9, and if it does, maybe I will be able to run it at a crawl...

wow. im glad i watched the trailers. those pictures dont do it justice. I am suprised tho that they arnt using the models from war3.

The past few years have felt like such a lull in gaming for me. Now, Left 4 Dead has come to offer such an amazing shooter, Lotr:O has filled the MMO void that I haven't filled since Daoc, and now SC2 will be coming. I've been so frusterated and now I think I can finally be content with gaming again.

And for those sim inclined, Spore will be coming next year as well.

It's a good time for gaming.

Yea it is. You can't forget HL ep 2 is coming out this year (hopefully) along with Portal and TF 2. I'm looking forward to those. Also development is underway for Natural Selection 2. That game is going to be amazing.

And second developement of Ghost was in the crapshoot from the get go, the game wasn't even on par with the other games being developed at the same time and they decided to scrap it.

Starcraft 2 was in development since 2003, before Ghost I believe. Ghost never hindered development on SC, so cancelling it doesn't help SC2, it was WoW that slowed SC2's production.
