4 scenarios:
Hospital
Farmhouse
Airport
Murky Countryside

I'm not sure if that is the right order, but those are the 4 base scenarios.

Yeah. Thats what ive herd as well for the four "movies". I want to see what the airport is ganna look like. It would be sweet, running through a plane with all the infected on there it would be so tightly packed and such. Shotgun FTW ! xD.. And then even not on the plane, airports are alwasy packed so imagine the choas !

I think he was just trying to make the comparrison. Like Snakes on a plane no 1 had ne wear to go it was so jampacked. Like L4D would be on a plane.

I doubt they will show each level. They probably want to surprise us.

Agreed. Theres only 4 senarios and weve seen two. Plus we have all seen so much of the hospital mission im sure some of us no the senario like the back of our heads. So yeah they Prabably want to surprise us with the looks of the country side and airport.

I think we have only actually seen 2 scenarios. We have seen the various parts of the Hospital from the Apartements, Subway, Sewers an Hospital itself with rooftop. And we have seen the end of the Cornfield level an now its beginning I think.

But for the other two its a mystery. With only a few months now you would think they would begin to show some but it looks like we wont see them until the game is almost out.

I dont think they will show us. Becuase Theres only 4 weve seen 2 so that leaves 2 left mabey that want them to be a surprise as said be 4 =D

I hope they show us Murky Countryside next, if they show either of the two maps next. I mean, there's only so many things a map called Airport can be, but Murky Countryside can mean anything. Hell, we could be fighting Infected in tunnels under a swamp for all we know.

Well Hospital includes several types of areas that are not part of the Hospital itself. Airport might just be the end of the scenario no telling what else there could be as they fight to get there. I suspect it might be a daytime city scenario though.

Have we even seen ALL of the hospital yet? It would be interesting to look through all the videos and try to find out if we've seen the 4-5 maps of the hospital movie.

Funny thing is, the bits of footage we've just seen lately from the forest areas leading to the farmhouse/cornfield in the Farmhouse campaign, pretty much look like what I imagined the Murky Countryside campaign will look like, so now I'm really curious as to where they're taking that one (Murky Countryside), thematically and map-wise.

I mean, yeah, I know, "countryside areas", but I wonder what exactly in that countryside will comprise those five maps? Airport you can pretty much guess what you'll see, but Murky Countryside... I don't know, they haven't said much about it yet.

At any rate, can't wait to find out when I actually play it, but the suspense is killing me right now!!!!! :D

The game will be released with 4 scenarios and valve will release more downlodable content (maps, lets hope for: more guns, new boss infected,etc.) probably like a month after release or sooner...

I think a single month is much too early. For the sake of official reviews and the all important first weeks of sale, they certainly want to have as much content at launch as possible.

If TF2 is any thing to go by, Valve released ctf_well (a port of cp_well, basically) three months after launch, cp_badlands one month after that and started putting out class specific updates about two months after that, so...

I guess thats possible, but they haven't finished making the game yet, so not very likely.
If anything, they probly have lots of ideas.... just like us...

No, it'll probably be a while for them to release a new scenario...my guess is 3 months...because it's not just a little map, it'd probably be a new campaign with multiple maps.

But they'll release the SDK pretty much at the same time as release, and I'm sure there's already people working on maps...there will be plenty of custom maps within the first month.

I don't think we have ever seen how they go from the Sewers to the Hospital. Not that I remember anyway. Also I am curious if there are still alternate routes in the game. In one of the recent vids the dev said they took the long way around. But just from that list alone we can see the "movies" themselves are fairly complex more than just the name suggests. They probably wont even be called Hospital when its out they might have fancier names.

For the Cornfield scenario its:

2. Large Factory or something with multiple floors

I dunno why but i really love the idea of waiting at a train station only to have a screeching train wake up a shitload of witches :p should be somin like that but obviously how do you win against 20 odd witches...
