Doesn't it seem fairly unfair that the orange box cost $59.99 and l4d will cost $59.99 In my opinion l4d is basically tf2 being an internet only game (basically). I have no doubt's it will be great but 60 bucks for tf2 would also have been an outrage.

This is a good point, but think of very many zombie games that come out that don't suck. You also have to remember what updates come soon after(unless they go slow like the tf2 weapons). I'm sure they will drop the price quickly though.

This is more of a game then TFII. That game was more of an Arena Shooter, while this is a co-op based nearly-free-roaming game that has a lot more in-depth gameplay, mostly in terms of the amount of time it takes to get to an objective. In TF2, a normal game takes about 10 or 15 minutes, while a normal round in Left 4 Dead takes an hour. I think that Left 4 Dead truly had more work done on it in the 2 or 3 years it has been in production than TF2 did in all 10 or so years that it was in production. Left 4 Dead is overall just going to be a better game in many people's opinion than TF2, or even CS:S, just because of it's overall playability, depth, AI, and gameplay. It is going to be the Game of the Century.

In all truth, I would buy this game even if it was $189.99

Games here cost $99.99 on release. Special editions and things like that cost up to $130. Not only that it stays higher for longer - Battlefield 2, released in 2005 was $99.99 until just a few months ago. Battlefield 2142 released in, what was it? The end of 2006? That game's still $99.99.

Computer stuff in general costs a shitload here, I just got a Razor Copperhead mouse, I bought it for $138.99. Looking at an American site the same thing, a now three-year-old gaming mouse, costs a more reasonable $49.99. I would order it in from America but for some strange reason every single place wants to charge me an insane $70 for shipping making a total of $119.99. Seventy bucks for shipping, what the fuck!? That's American dollars too, at the current exchange rate that changes to about $158.00 NZ. For a fucking computer mouse.

360 games in the uk cost about £50 thats about $100!!!!!! i admit i havent checked the prices for a while as i never bothered with a 360 so it might have gone down now. still you should be thankfull you get it so cheap :) on the pc it'll probably be about £25 so $50 proof if ever it was needed the 360 is a rip off :D

Mods and Maps are always on PC, so if the PC version costed more it would still be more worth it. Just look at all the stuff done with CSS on PC.

There is only one console game that can use mods. UT3 on PS3 has the ability to use mods when you use a usb memory device, but this is the only console game with this capability. Left 4 Dead is not on PS3 and seeing how 360 version of UT3 doesn't have mods no way Left 4 Dead on 360 will.

Also, paying to play online is a ripoff.
