If u have H-L 1 u can get Brain Bread, Zombie Panic! and others im sure u can find laying around.. like um Resident Evil: Cold Blood

Hypothetically, yes. You might need to download the Source SDK Base (http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Source_SDK_base), however.

how dare you compare zombie horde to zombie mod! Zombie horde and mod aren't the same thing!

In horde the zombies actually kill you and it plays like a real zombie game. In MOD you camp and push the zombies back with your shots way to easily.

HORDE and MOD are different!

I didn't read that (came with CSS) I assumed he was talking about the original HL deathmatch, which wouldn't have gone so good. Anyway, the only way to get mods is to buy a valve/source based retail, so for me that was HL2, considering CSS wasn't (or I never heard of it being) standalone.

The question I have is, will L4D be standalone, or will you need a source game? For me I wish it needed source, (brings the price down). But for my friends who I want to get L4D so we can play Co-Op, I want it to be standalone.
