Looks as if you can skip the window cleaner lift cresendo event

look into the video I'm not sure when but the player goes up a ladder instead.
This was after the event but does it like fall down or can you skip it?

I know what your talking about, but i really don't know. If anything, it probably is locked from the top until after the crescendo, otherwise, what would be the point in the lift?

In it, Chet said he opens the roof up top. So if you fall off, you can go for the ladder.

you could, but you'd likely get owned by a horde, but yeah you have to unlock the ladder from the top

I wonder why they didn't just have the lift go back down after a couple moments. It probably does anyway since one person could go up alone an get killed before dropping the ladder an everyone would be stuck on the bottom.

Agreed, but the question still remains: can you take the ladder before the lift goes up?

That's likely the answer.

EDIT: In fact, players themselves may have to unlock the hatch when they get to the top of the lift. That way, if they leave someone behind ("left for dead"), then the left behind player has to wait until the others open the hatch... or don't. ;)
