My most painful expeirence happend not too long ago. just 2 days ago to be exact. I was playing some basket ball in gym.. another boring gym day. i made a shot but it didn't go in then me and my friend ran after it.. i was ahead so he pushed me and i went straight to the concrete/matted wall. i put my arm out to stop my self.to put it simple my arm basically went into my wrist. it hurt a lot and i felt like i couldn't breathe or talk so good so all i tried to say was "nurse.." i walked way down the gym and into the nurses office she gave me an ice pack and said "no it isn't broken probably just a bruise." she gave me an ice pack and sent me back >:O a few minutes later my wrist had an egg sized swelling Ouch!! and under my arm between my elbow and hand was a little hill it hurt like fuck and wouldn't stop shaking.. i went back and she was at lunch. at this point i was pretty in patient cos of all the pain.. so like 10 minutes later she came back and sent me to ac doctor which was like 9 blocks away -_- so i went there and had to wait a 3 non stop pain filled hours.. then i got my x-ray and a cheap cast and the next day i had to go to a whole other town to see a specialist at 9 a.m in the morning and he pulled my wrist bacck into place and gave me an official cast... and thats my most pain full expeirence!!

Ahh nothing like set bones!
Uhh... here I go
(Just to let you know our nurse is a bitch at our school)
Heres a story first to say how our nurse is bad.
We were doing lacross in the gym and the ball goes behind the bleechers and my friend went behind to go get it and ends up cutting his leg on this metal piece. It could of even been infected too! So the nurse seriously just gives him a bandaid and tells him its fine dont worry and does it in like a mono tone. He ends up having to get 9 stiches.
In gym also we were in the wreslting room playing dodge ball and I was the last man catching every ball! (woo!) Then one hit my pinky and it broke part of my bone and it Hurt like hell! The nurse said just put ice and yeah I had to get an x-ray, part of my bone broke and got a splint. It got so big! lol
When I have surgery on my leg to remove some cancerous thing they went in 3 layers of skin, 29 stiches through those layers and after the medicine went away, IT WAS HELL! The pain was soo unbelievable.
I split open my elbow twice, ruined my damn nice white power ranger t-shirt!
There was a huge hill and my bike couldn't take it with its brakes and I flew forward scraping my face into the concrete.. yeah it follows from there.
The inside of my lip opened up. Still have the bumpy scar.
I have a picture of my surgery here too, *NOT FOR THE SQEEMISH*
http://a414.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/01061/31/43/1061863413_l.jpg
Split left eye as a kid, had right thumb pulled out of joint free sparring which still bothers me to this day, dislocated left shoulder falling off of fence and fell through plate glass window. Of all those the most serious one was the window one, but actually hurt the least since so many nerves were severed.

Why?!
I accidently kicked a knife...heh.
And before you ask "How do you ACCIDENTLY kick a knife." I was in a hurry, and I didn't know it was there.
How?!
Pot of boiling water. Good times. Got to love pain killers and candy.
EDIT: I'd elaborate on how it happened, but up to this day I'm still not sure on the details.

I guess i should be lucky, i have had so many painful experiences its amazing im as functional as i am today. How am i lucky? because in my family runs a gean (or jean?) for a high, very high tolerance to pain.
Lets see where to begin,
I walked into my neighbors cactus and had at least 3 huge needles sticking out of my leg, which i had to pull out myself and i had a bunch of more small ones which i had to pull out with a tweezer, which i missed alot and pulled out at least 20 strands of hair. one needel was so far in me that i couldnt get it out and its still there today.
i was riding my bike and (dont ask me how) my foot got stuck in my tire, i didnt know this so i kept peddeling making my ankle pull out of its thing as i did it, then my bike stopped and i couldnt get my foot out and retarted me didnt get off the bike so i fell and a rock 1 inch high went straight into my leg. it wasnt a big cut but it was deep, and deep ones hurt really bad.
i was climbing a tree while playing a game of hide and seek and while i was trying to get someone, the branch i was on broke and i landed on my arm,........ in a thorn bush.
i have so many more that i cant even think of now since its 12 05 in the morning.
like i said, im so lucky i have a high tolerance to things
o and another one, a pin from a sewing machine was sticking up on the table and i slammed my hand onto it as hard as i could by accident.
i have broken so many glass things in my house that if you walk barefoot you will most likely cut yourself within 10 mintues of walking. i barley notice anymore becuase one time i broke a glass cup and forgot to clean it up, so i went to the bathroom and forgot i even broke glass to begin with, so i walk barefoot through the kitchen (its where i dropped it) to get another cup cause i was thirsty, stepping on so much glass on my way there that my feet would literally stick to the floor, so im thinking in my head, why are my feet sticking to the floor, so i look down and there is blood all over.
now i dont remember any more.... also i never broke a bone :D well, i might have but not known about it!!!! (just kidding i dont think i ever did)
i forgot how but i sprained my ankle, as soon as that healed up, i sprained my wrist, as soon as that healed up i sprained the same ankle again, as soon as that healed up i sprained my same wrist... again
EDIT: my longest post ever!!!!!!! (isnt that sad that my longest post is about my most painful experience?)

It would probably do better then american idol!!!! well at least maybe that new zombie series
EDIT: another thing to add on, i get cuts and bruises what seems like out of nowhere cause i dont feel it when i get them. one time playing cards with my dad (it could have been monopoly) a card i was holding in my hand started to turn red and i thought the card was bleeding (i just had a mountain dew at the time and was going nuts) it was actually a cut on my hand that came from getting stabbed by a fork while making a root beer float 5 minutes earlier :)

My most painful moment? Reading that first post...my eyes still burn from its unformated horror...
Other that that I think its a tie between when a wasp flew up my t-shirt and went nuts or when my finger was slammed in a car door which proceeded to lock on it. For all the accidents my poor ole body has gone through nothing has really been that painful.
EDIT: Oh, wait! My sister throw a rock at my head when we were learning how to skip rocks when I was like five. That might've been the worst. Maybe if I were concious during my wisdom teeth pulling without pain killers that might top it...

Hit by a car, sent me fikin high into the air and slid across the road...on my forhead(got 13 stitches)
Went skateboarding, slipped off and a nail went straight into the muscle of my lower leg.
My dumbass little brother swung a bat at me and hit me between the eys, nearly knocked me out.

well... it appears that quite a few of you are prone to bone braking lol XD i however *swells chest* have never had a bone break in my body...*touches wood*.
But... that doesnt mean to say i haven't been through something now does it//
I went on holiday to Greece: one of the islands off the coast actually but i dont think any of you care so ill just get to the point.
I like insects... when i say that... i mean "i dont mind them"... but they can get a tad annoying when they carry a hefty amount of poison with them. But anyway...
During the night... i think it was the 4th day but im not sure, i woke up with a burning sensation in my nose. The walls had that spiky plaster... you know the stuff, a wall which looks like it has stones implanted in it, because of that, i thought i had gone and scraped half my nose off on the wall in my sleep. I was little, so i kinda yelled at this point thinking that half my nose had gone. Soon after, the lights were on and my mother and uncle came to investigate. They were like "quick get some water and tissues" you know... the usual treatment. Even when they were padding it with water... i still thought half my nose and gone, but my opinion changed when i looked in the mirror. It was quite obvious even to a 10 year old... there were 6 pin pricks all parallel too each other. They were all in a line across the bridge of my nose... they looked quite cool actually. Snakes were common in these parts, and it sure as hell felt like poison. They pain wasnt stationary either... it felt like it was moving across my face. Panic is pretty much the only word which described the scenario at this point. The medical standards of the hospital arnt exactly brilliant, and so if it was a snake... a poisoness one, i was pretty much stuffed. I was hurried outside for some reason, i think we were trying to find help. The pain was quite blinding at this point, and my eyes were acting really wierd, they felt like they werent in my control anymore. we sort of briskly walked to a vineyard not too far from where we were staying... hmm..*searches for a good descriptive word if where we were*... o i know: in the middle of nowhere just about fits the description.
The owner of the vineyard.. or so we thought took a look at the pin pricks and didnt actually tell us what they were from until she came back from inside the house with a needle. She said they were from this fruit centipede or something. Apparently they inject i digestive juice into their victims i.e. the grapes XD, and then suck up the fluids. Relieved that my nose was only being digested into a soup and not dieing from a poison i let her inject what ever was in the syringe into my nose. She then looked for any other bites, but there was none. What she gave me was an antidote thing which would kill the enzymes which were digesting my flesh... she said that little harm would come from one bite, but being bit 3 times should be dealt with.
So apart from that, nearly dieing by falling off a tree, and being born 6 weeks early... im all good.

MY most painful experience was when i was playing another game of paintball, unfortunatly i was in a hurry to make it to the field that day so i just grabed my bag and gun and left (thinking everything was in my bag still from the last time i played), it turns out that not everythign was, lol, when i was all set to go i had absolutely everything i needed except for a box (groin protection), and me being an idiot decided because its only been hit 5 times out of like 20 games the chances of being hit again arnt to worrysome, fast forward to 30 mins later when i come barging out the side of a shed, turn to my side and see a line of about 5 guys from the other team, all aiming there guns right at me (they where all wearing masks but i could tell that they just had to all be smiling at how F#@%ed up i was about to get, i knew, they knew it, the ref knew it) Bang Bang Bang! i got hit everywhere, arms, head, legs. But the most painful experience of my life was from when a single paintball went whistling straight into my nuts......id like to say i that i yelled out loud and went beserk at the guy, id like to say that i got revenge by hoseing all of them regardless if i had been hit or not, but in reality i made a soft little sqweek, went completely still, my gun fell from my hand and i just tipped forward and face planted to grass. there i layed for about an hour (im serious i lay there for about an hour) then i managed to get up on my knees and crawl back to the safe house, where i stayed for the REST OF THE DAY thats 6 hours! Once your hit in "you know where" you not only miss out on paintball for the day but i missed work the next day and was only really able to walk without pain after 2 days, even now when i type this theres that instinct/awareness of that once terrible pain reminding me to never forget my box and if i do...just dont play, its not worth it
P.s. i was able to buy a brand new one on the day but i decided nto to because of some stupid reason concerning the amount of times you get hit there

05-28-2007, 02:17 AM
ouch dude... i feel for you. The only time ive been hit in the balls with serious velocity is an ice snow ball (basically a snow ball which has been pressed tight and dunked into water for aout 2 minutes) Thats painful, and keeps you curled up on the floor for a while. I would hate to have a paintball traveling at 250 feet per second slamming straight into the crackers....*shivers*.
I go airsoft, which i find loads more fun and stealthy when compared to paintballing... mainly because, someone always has a better gun then you, and when that happens, you'r 100% garenteed to have a face full of BB's. Also because, firing 100 BB rounds every second from a heavy M249 with about 6,000 BB's to spare is the best feeling you can get... But then... sending a BB from the barrel of a Kar98 sniper rifle into someones head poking out of a trench is also enjoyable... especially when you know your firing it at 399 fps (just below the legal limit). I use a very solid guard for the special area, and your story has given me a firm reason to not remove it.

Hmm, I some of you guys have had really unlucky lives. Another no-bone breakers here, yay.
Most painful experience I've had was pretty much the whole month or two after having my wisdom teeth removed. Everything I tried to do with my mouth hurt, and it bled all the time, and cumulatively it must've been the most pain I've been in for the longest time.
Second was probably almost cutting off the top 1/4 of my middle and ring fingers on my right hand. I was 12 or so, my dad was driving home and for some inexplicable reason we had this big peice of sheet metal right in the cab of his truck. He made one stop a little quicker than he should have, I tried to hold the metal in place, and it sliced 3/4 of the way into both fingers. I didn't help by going absolutely batshit insane and waving my hand all over the place and spraying blood on the windshield, myself, and him. But we got to a hospital, got them stitched, and they're fine.
Third was either running my thumb partway through a machine designed to bend sheetmetal into a corner. Like you run a flat peice through and the bit on the other side of the part my thumb went through points straight up afterwards. That thumb is still bigger than the other one, and always will be. Or it was playing hockey, tripping somehow, and taking three people down with me. We were going pretty fast towards the boards, and somehow my bent knee gets between all of us and the rock hard plastic right at the bottom and just smashes it. Had to get helped off the ice, couldn't walk for about half an hour, fun times.
Ouch. This whole thread just makes me cringe at points. You're supposed to dodge the knives, not kick them!

One day i was playing with my cat with one hand on top of my bed. He ran i was going to chase him and i fell and popped my hand back into place.

well, given some of these posts, my life seems pain free, but I'll put mine up anyway:
My first one is nothing special, I basically got kicked square in the jewels (from below) by a friend. At that point my entire being seemed focused into whether I would be able to draw enough breath to cuss out said friend. Long story short I got wheelchaired to the nurse and spent the rest of the day with an icepack on my balls.
The other one happened when I was 9. I was catapulted about 10 feet into the air off of a see-saw and landed straight on my right hand (just lucky that I didn't fall on my head)

Spontaneous pneuma thorax was pretty bad (tare/hole in lung causes it to collapse and an air pocket to form above the lung) Probably more uncomfortable/scary than painful, but it hurt like fuck trying to take a deep breath.
Freak skateboarding accident resulting in two nails being torn off my left hand hurt pretty bad but I was only about 9 years old.
hooray for zombies

oh yeah, that reminds me, when I was really young (like 6) I was pushing myself along on a skateboard, and, well one of my fingers got caught under the skateboard and the nail was torn completely off. Can you say ow?

Ow, I remember when I was a kid, I rode on a skateboard superman style (childish but its when you lay on your stomach on the skateboard for those that dont know) and I hit the smallest smallest rock. By the way I was going down hill real fast. So I flew off, and manage to save my face, but my knees and hands took a real real bad scratch. But now my hands look like nothing happened, and my knees are still pretty ugly.

Yes an infected, he saw me ran after me and punched me in the face. I had to go get my girlfriend to come kick his ass. And she is a cheerleader, so she can jump and kick pretty good. TAKE THAT INFECTED A**
