Doug Lombardi-PS3 rumors shut down

US, August 4, 2008 - While there have been rumors circulating the Internet that claim that Left 4 Dead, Valve's upcoming zombie-filled shooter for the PC and 360, would be coming to the PS3, it looks like there's no truth behind them. We contacted Doug Lombardi from Valve to comment on the rumor and his response was clear: "there is no PS3 version of Left 4 Dead currently in production."

EXACTLY! not in production CURRENTLY at least read and think before posting dummy... although i dont care if they do make a ps3 version of it as i am a PC gamer (ftw) but if they did... it would be cool to see a cross-over connection so that pc gamers and ps3 gamers can play with others

Microsoft requires the pc version to run thru games for windows live to have crossover.

Although they didn't do it with the ps3 version of tf2

hey, did I ever say in my post that it was NEVER coming to the PS3, NO. I copied and pasted an article from IGN, in which it said "not currently in production"

I heard that PS3 will be made if the 360 and PC versions do well and that EA games will be making it for the PS3
