i need opinions on 28 days/weeks later

ive been having an argument with my friends about this. i say that there isnt a single zombie in the movie because they didnt die, theyre just in a perpetual state of rage. idk i just want to know what u guys think

In a sense, they are zombies due to their lack of reason and brainless nature. If you look at the majority of the videos for left 4 dead, the said "zombies" are just beating the hell out of downed survivors. By the way, who cares?!?

thats because they are regular people. in the beginning of the movie the monkeys were not dead at all, they were just extremely pissed. wen they were let out of their cages they passed their pissed-off infection to the animal activist. so the animal activist became pissed and then it quickly spread from there. so eventually the UK was swarming with a bunch of pissed off assholes, much like it is today MEH HEH HEH!

as for their ranks among undead, well the "truth" is that zombies can only be killed by crushing their head or breaking the neck while the infected people in 28 days/weeks later can die by any mortal wound. and they are not mindless, they are smart enough to use ladders properly and wade through water (opening of 28 weeks later). i believe the director of the movie(s) even said that they were not zombies.

haha that doesnt prove much, they do that to increase drama and fear; stressing that this is indeed one badass mo-fuckin virus that can mutate extremely fast. the whole hour thing with zombies is actually more realistic in sense of real life virus's as it takes time for a virus to work its way into your body.

We all know they're just infected with a rage virus (they're called Infected both in 28 Days and Left4Dead)...but it's not simply normal humans only super angry...the virus does let them ignore pain or deal with it...there was one infected in 28 Weeks Later that got half of him blown off, but he was still moving along...I'm not sure how, it seems like they broke their own canon, but the adrenaline and rage can keep them from dying even after taking a few bullets to the body.
