Questions on 360 DLC

i'm aware that theyre gonna have new weapons, infected, characters, maps, etc., but i want to know if anyone has info on how they will be released. i know that valve was gonna release things quicker on the xbox with l4d than they did with TF2, and they also said it will be fairly frequent. does this mean that they will have smaller things or bigger. for example, will they release a new maps, weapons and infected seperatly for like 160-400mp a piece, or all of those at once for around 800mp, or will some of it just be updates like the TU2 for Halo 3? i would just like to know if anyone has heard anything about it.

as far as i know, they havent released any info on the matter. so your guess is as good as mines dudes, i would like to know also. some games been on the bullshit with the DLC, some games selling points is all type of DLC but when the game comes out, they only release ONE DLC and thats it. I hope valve dont go down that road

i'm sure they will try to release each DLC as quickly as the PC. like how TF2 on the xbox didn't get the new maps for awhile (or if they ever got them at all). i think that once Valve has new content they will release it on the PC and then probably a week to the xbox 360 since they have to go through a certification process.

but yeah as you brought up, we're not sure how its gonna be handled. but im sure they wont be charging for the maps.

i think that l4d is gonna have some pretty good dlc. i would personally have more at once because it looks like it costs more, but its usually a better deal. like song packs in rockband or somthing

i hope, but i dont know. epic games didnt want to charge for the gears maps, but they were forced to. but then again, they seem to have lightend up a little since then
edit: that was a while back, and i think the gears maps are now free. i hope the l4d maps are the same

In steam i dont think they will, for maps in tf2 etc they had free downloads.

I've seen alot of games release free DLC on xbox live recently, such as conquest mode on Battlefield (also interesting is that 4 new maps are coming for free as well), the Cold Storage map on Halo 3 and some map pack for Army of Two. I hope that Valve follow in their footsteps, but on a more frequent basis.

An awesome idea they could implement would be if a pc modder made a really good map or "Movie", valve could port it over to the 360 version as well. It could be like "Map of the Month" or something.

The DLC will be awesome and keep the game interesting but im still waitin for the damn game........ gonna be amazing!!!
